I’m 13 + 1 today and relieved to say that most of my T1 symptoms have settled down. On the downside I feel bigger than ever (eating too much, can’t blame baby) and have to go back into the office next week - should be a laugh fitting into my work clothes!
We had our 12 week scan and tests last week and everything has come back really positive so that’s a relief. Just a long sober December between now and my 20 week scan haha. Hope everyone is okay xxx

maloney123 · 26/11/2020 21:53

Pic of scan sorry!

SarahTTC2020 · 26/11/2020 22:23

Lovely @maloney123 glad it went well! Did they book you in for 20 week then?

pookypup · 26/11/2020 22:42

@maloney123 what a great pic! Smile

Whywontitname · 26/11/2020 23:21

@Ivybutterfly I’ll give them a call, I only had my booking app this week on the phone so might give them till Monday but the midwife did say they waited to get me in urgently for the scan and I’m seeing someone in person next week.

Kind of just want to have a scan date so I’ll know (hopefully) that everything will be alright as I feel more nervous as time goes on!

AnnaPosie · 27/11/2020 00:05

@Motherofcats I was the exact same around 9 weeks, constantly hungry and needed to eat the whole time but no interest in food ! It was so tough, I'm 11 weeks now, still bit a great appetite and certain foods make me nauseous but not as hungry as before so it will get better ! I nap a lot during the day as well, I've never been so tired

Tatty1987 · 27/11/2020 06:57

Hello, for those ladies who have had their 12 week scans and opted for the combined screening test, how long did it take to receive your results through the post? We have our scan on the 16th December and wondering whether you think we’ll get the results prior to Christmas.

PinkPlantCase · 27/11/2020 07:43

@Tatty1987 they told me at the time that the fluid measurement on the scan was in the normal range. I’ve heard mixed thing’s about how long bloods take to come back. Though I did hear that it’s faster if there’s something wrong.

Mackie2020 · 27/11/2020 08:36

@Tatty1987 I had my scan on Tuesday and got the results & 20 week scan date in the post yesterday. That does seem really quick so I may have just been lucky.

Mackie2020 · 27/11/2020 08:46

@Tatty1987 also to say, I was told the results would take about a week but the midwife would call me sooner if high risk

Tatty1987 · 27/11/2020 09:31

@PinkPlantCase @Mackie2020 thanks so much for letting me know. I’m now a bit more hopeful that we’ll be able to tell family and friends at Christmas if all’s well.

Bookgirlie · 27/11/2020 10:45

Hi All!
Just found this thread so hope it’s okay I joined!
I’m 9 weeks +1 with my first child! Very nervous!
Already told family as I’m very close with them (I’m 23) and it would have been hard to keep it a secret as I have been very sick from about week 5. Sick everyday till about midday and sometimes it lasts all day and I can’t keep anything down! Anyone else that bad? Really hope it stops soon
Hoping to hear about my first scan soon, I’ve had my booking appointment so hopefully will get a letter soon. I think it will start to feel really real then!

toptreeroots1 · 27/11/2020 11:01

Checking back into this thread.
I'm 12+1 today due 10 June .
Had my dating scan monday. Baby looked all good . 8.5cm cyst on my right ovary though but it's asymptomatic and not causing any pain atm. They want to recheck it at anomaly scan. Hopefully should be shrinking or gone but it could grow. Most likely Corpus luteum so as the placenta takes over hopefully it will decrease.
Apparently very common but mine is larger my last pregnancy I had a 6cm one to.

Anyone else had one of those cysts this time ?
I've been so lucky this time. Zero nausea and morning sickness after vomiting daily all the way through with my first . I can hardly believe there is a baby in there still

PinkPlantCase · 27/11/2020 11:50

@Tatty1987 I had my scan on Wednesday and got the feral abnormality results in the post today! Very fast turn around.

Chuffed, Down’s syndrome risk less than 1 in 10,000 and Edward’s and Patau’s less than 1 in 100,000

SarahTTC2020 · 27/11/2020 13:26

Hi everyone, our scan went well today, due date now 7th June. We had a student sonographer have a practice after the main one so 40 mins of watching baby wriggling around which was amazing!
Then had to wait another 40 mins for bloods and flu jab as they didn't tell the nurse I was waiting, so leave plenty of time 🙈

10+1 today and had our scan as part of the nipt test. All looking good and baby was really active waving its little arms around. Measuring 3 days ahead so far. Now just the agonising 2 week wait for the blood test results!

Dragonfly92 · 27/11/2020 14:49

Lovely scan photos @SarahTTC2020 and @lucieloos! 😊

Penny2020 · 27/11/2020 16:17

@lucieloos @SarahTTC2020 loving seeing your scan pictures, so exciting!

Tatty1987 · 27/11/2020 16:36

@PinkPlantCase wow that’s so quick. Great news on the results too! Thanks for letting me know.

@SarahTTC2020 @lucieloos fab pictures! So exciting

Edelweiss2020 · 27/11/2020 16:51

Joining onto this thread, am 12+3 due 8th June. Had my scan on Wednesday and was absolutely bricking it but it was so nice to see little one wiggling about - it wouldn’t stay still!
A few close family knew already but we have now told most people, my 92 year old granddad was the most excited, he has 13 grandchildren but this will be his first great grandchild 🥰

Still struggling massively with fatigue but the nausea is slowly leaving and being replaced by extreme hunger, which is probably a good thing for now as have been really struggling to eat!

Good luck to everyone having scans soon, it is scary until you get to see them but so worth it when they start wiggling about ❤️

Humpty11 · 27/11/2020 17:20

Oh @Edelweiss2020 that made me choke up about your 92 year old Grandad 🥰💔.
Congratulations!

SarahTTC2020 · 27/11/2020 17:30

@Edelweiss2020 that's so lovely! My grandad has dementia and had a day where he mentioned me to mum today so she told him and he was happy, but he already has about 20 great grandchildren 😂 so he probably doesn't care now haha

She also told me today I have an anterior placenta so wouldn't feel movements as early. Yours looks in a different position to mine, did she mention yours?

Happy2be · 27/11/2020 17:40

So nice seeing all the scan pictures coming through now. I have mine on the 4th! Cant wait 🙈🙈🙈

toptreeroots1 · 27/11/2020 18:49

My scan report says anterior to.
I'm pretty sure it was with my first to. I felt her from 19 weeks. I was slimmer then though 😁
She was very active

BurningBenches · 27/11/2020 20:04

My Dd3 had an anterior placenta and I felt her from 19wks ish

The others about 14wks. I'm 12wks tomorrow and I keep thinking I can feel something but equally I haven't my scan yet and so I worry about getting ahead of myself.
