Thread 3 already! How’s everyone feeling?

Morning every one!

I'm 11+5 With #5 and I have my scan on Monday. I'll be going alone for a number of reasons, so feeling a bit nervous. I'm 41, so may end up doing NIPT after but to reassure others at 39 I was low risk based on the combined test. So I think age based risk was 1:110 whereas my risk was actually 1:1609.

I've felt sick, retching, the odd vomit since about 6wks. And weeing constantly but last night was the first night in weeks that I've not got up to wee.

I'm feeling anxious about telling people, my kids and the possible judgement/negativity.

Hi all. I'm 12 weeks and still feel nauseas but not really actually feeling sick. It's literally all day... has anyone been tempted to start buying stuff for the baby yet? What with Black Friday sales? I'm not sure whether I should or if it's a bit too soon

Scan went well, baby was stubborn and refused to lay on their back, much preferred to be face down with bum in the air! After some jiggling of my belly (which wasn't nice after spending a few hours throwing up) baby moved and the sonography managed to get all relevant measurements.
Lovely seeing jellybean again, and I got a little wave too 🥰

Hi all. 9+5 today and still feeling nauseous with no energy. Mood swings are also a bit wild - I'm feeling sorry for DH and DS, I have no patience for either of them at the minute!! I think we're all hoping this will improve over time

I have already bought maternity jeans. I popped out at 11 weeks.

Hi everyone,

I'm 10+2 today. This is my first pregnancy and I couldn't not keep it secret from my family, I told them the same day I found out. My partner has a son from prev relationship and wanted to first tell his son and then his parents. I only just found out his son was suspecting I was pregnant as he found a pregnancy test in the bin. My partner has not spoken to his son since and I feel this is partly why he does not seem excited about the pregnancy at all. I feel like it's just me who wants it really. Feel a bit down because of it today.

Hi everyone hope your all well :) please may I join? I'm 11 weeks today by my calculations I have my first dating scan on the 30th so very nervous. Still feeling little sick but has eased a lot past week.. still not feeling pregnant even though I've had sickness just feel like when I go to the scan nothing will be there. Just back from my scan and found out I'm actually 11 weeks+1 day and everything is good it's like a weight lifted from my shoulders 😀

12 +2 and non of my trousers do up, I’ve had to borrow my mums which are a few sizes up.

Have anyone ears been funny? I feel like my heads underwater today

Is anyone else feeling anxious? I am 12 weeks tomorrow. I have a scan on Monday and I had a scan at 7 + 2. There was a baby and a heartbeat. I have had two previous losses and I am just so scared. Sorry to be a downer. I just have this dread after an ectopic and then a miscarriage.

@Ivybutterfly if you have a heartbeat then it dramatically improved your chances ❤️ of course we all probably still feel anxious though. It's easy on here to focus on the bad but just think, every one you know was the result of a successful pregnancy ❤️

@Ivybutterfly were your previous losses before 12 weeks? Sorry to ask! I just know I feel so much relief when the baby was okay at the 12 week scan. The risks really do drop massively once you reach that point

@PinkPlantCase yes, both before 12 weeks.

@Ivybutterfly. Mines on Monday too and I’m getting a little anxious. I haven’t had any early scans but as Sarah said I’m just trying to keep in my head how it’s much more likely to be a healthy baby than it is to be a missed miscarriage. Not easy mind.

@Scarftown good luck. Yes, it is best to focus on the positive.

It is so hard sometimes to focus on the positives - especially when it’s in the news a lot at the moment now Meghan Markle has bravely spoke out. I had put it to the back of my mind until I read her story. I have everything crossed for my 12 week scan in 3 weeks 🤞🏻

Has anyone not got their scan date yet? I’m 10+4 and getting a bit concerned I don’t have a 12 week scan date yet!

Hey everyone. Signed up to mumsnet today. I’m 9+1 and it’s my first child. I did not expect to feel this sluggish constantly. I’ve only been sick once but I’m hungry all the time. I never thought I’d say this but constantly eating is just getting me down now. I’m living off carbs and feel like I’ve put on loads of weight already. I can’t sleep at night because of constant overthinking but I want to nap during the day while the TV is on so it drowns out my thoughts. I went for an early scan on Monday so my partner and I could both see the baby for the first time together. I have only told my parents and my partners parents because of how I’m having to eat now. If I went round and asked for cereal every 5 minutes they would know something was up. I hope things get better in the second trimester, I can’t even bring myself to get up and go out for a short walk at the moment.

@Whywontitname I would call them up. They forgot to send me a letter. They gave me the details over the phone.
