Hi! I'm also due august 1 based on LMP. Is this your first?

Drl94 · 25/11/2020 20:18

Hi, I’m due in Aug. Found out on Sunday but came off the pill 25th Oct and had no bleed so don’t know what date I’m due but going for a private early scan on 18th of Dec so hopefully find out then!!

Sallyjo27 · 25/11/2020 20:22

@Rtmhwales congratulations! I’ve had 3 miscarriages this year but hoping this will be our first bring home baby. What about you?

@Drl94 congratulations! That’s fab news, keep us updated!

How are you all feeling?
I’m so tired and my boobs are like rocks 😩

Congratulations to you both aswell!! (Fingers crossed healthy pregnancies for all haha)

I’m absolutely exhausted, I normally walk the dog before work at 6.30am but can’t get myself out of bed😂. I’m really nauseous when I wake up but that passes quite quickly. Apart from that - nothing so far!

Rtmhwales · 25/11/2020 22:53

I'm fine so far! This would be my second but first with DP. I have a 2.5 year old DS who came at 31+6 after a super complicated pregnancy last time so I'm nervous. DS was due august 11 so they're only due ten days difference and I got sick with DS mid December so I'm super worried I'll be down and out with HG in a week or two!

Mellous · 26/11/2020 08:46

Also august 1st! Congrats!

NestinginNL · 26/11/2020 10:05

Hello! August 6th here, this is number one ☺️ found out two days ago and today is when AF is due so tomorrow I'll feel much more confident. I've already been nauseous for two days though which is why I tested, and knackered in the afternoons.

Sallyjo27 · 26/11/2020 17:23

Hi all congratulations!
The tiredness has really kicked in today! So had the trapped wind cramps 😩 I’ve got progesterone pessaries and think the extra hormones are making it worse.
Has anyone shared their news with anyone yet?

Congratulations all!

I'm due early August too!

Wanted to ask if anyone was going to be telling any family/friends early? We are supposed to be forming a bubble with my parents-in-law and my partner's aunt and uncle over the allowed Christmas period. We'll all be travelling to my parents-in-law's house. We weren't going to be telling anyone else so early, but as my parents-in-law usually offer a prosecco on Christmas morning or with lunch and maybe a few other alcoholic drinks during the day like their homemade sloe gin they make every year for Christmas time I was thinking maybe we should tell them earlier than planned as I obviously won't be drinking. I'm not much of a drinker usually, but usually would accept to have an alcoholic drink to cheers with at least. Fully aware I can do this with non alcoholic drink but it may seem odd if I say no and request a soft drink l. I wasn't planning on having an early scan however so that makes me feel pretty nervous, to tell others especially as I've not had many symptoms yet and it would essentially be extended family as I wouldn't have counted my partner's aunt and uncle as people to be telling first. I keep testing every few days as I've been worried my lack of symptoms are bad news. My partner's family are all absolutely wonderful so I'm sure they'd be over the moon for us and would be very supportive if something did go wrong.

PlantMummy87 · 26/11/2020 17:48

Also so so sorry about the essay! 🤦

Drl94 · 26/11/2020 17:54

Hello, I’ve told my dad, siblings and my parents in law. I’ve also told my headteacher as they need to do a risk assessment due to covid. But that’s it! I’m taking a test every two days for the simple fact that I ordered loads and I wanted to get rid. I also enjoy seeing the line get darker😂😂😂!!

Drl94 · 26/11/2020 17:54

Ps - CONGRATS ALL💖💖

MushroomQueen · 26/11/2020 18:01

Hello August 8th here. Found out yesterday with a faint positive and a digital today. It's my 3rd pregnancy but feels like a lifetime ago as I have 4 and 6 year old. Congrats all

Sallyjo27 · 26/11/2020 19:09

@PlantMummy87 I’m worried about Christmas too! I’ve told my mum as soon as I got a BFP but as we’ve had 3 miscarriages this year we decided not to tell DH parents and we go there for Xmas too. I’m going to drive so “dh can have a drink and I’ve already had a few in the house so I better not” will be my excuse. I’ve got lack of symptoms to, to be honest I’m tired but don’t feel pregnant yet. I’ve taken so many tests! It’s ridiculous but I find when my anxiety is bad it helps calm me down.

@Drl94 ah I’ve had to tell my boss- headteacher too! I work in primary, trying to keep 6ft from the children is such hard work- or should I say trying to get them to keep 6ft from me haha.

@MushroomQueen that’s lovely news! How are you feeling?

OP posts:
Drl94 · 26/11/2020 19:15

Ahhh @Sallyjo27 primary too - hard when all they want to do is hug you! We had a class meeting today to remind ourselves all about social distancing😂😂.

I’m waking up every morning symptom spotting but in all truth I don’t feel any different- just tired and nauseous and I think that’s work stress, not pregnancy related

JanQi · 26/11/2020 19:22

Another one for 1st August here Smile I'm pregnant with baby #1 after a miscarriage at 6 weeks in September. Desperately trying to stay positive and not let the anxiety about it happening again overwhelm me. My symptoms are quite different this time (which I'm taking as a good sign). I've had a constantly upset stomach, some sickness already and feel generally exhausted. We've already told our parents and a few close friends as they knew about the miscarriage and we'll need their support if it happens again.

Congrats everyone!

MushroomQueen · 26/11/2020 19:35

@Sallyjo27 I was super anxious yesterday, calmer today. I was getting out the car and pulled myself up and i felt a sharp stretch on my lower abdomen, then again when I was carrying my 4 year old. I am going to have to avoid doing that again, my body wasnt a fan, it seems to be happening a lot sooner this time than the 2nd and the 1st. The 1st I felt nothing for agggges. Ligaments have been stetched and my body seems to go into oh weve done this before. I am much more tired than I was with the other 2 this early, I think thats an age thing.

Mommabear20 · 26/11/2020 19:49

Can I join? Got my BFP a few days ago!
This is baby #2 for us, DD is 5 months old. Due August 1st too! We're going to tell DH parents and my mum and her partner tomorrow and FaceTiming my dad on Saturday as I simply can't wait! 😂

Sleeeeeepy · 26/11/2020 19:56

Hopping on board, due August 3rd ish but not planning on telling anyone for quite a while. I'm already putting on weight so they might notice, I think it's a hormone thing with me as I'm eating the same amount, at least xmas is a good excuse though!

Sallyjo27 · 28/11/2020 14:33

Congratulations to those who have joined!

How are you going to avoid suspensions over Christmas when your not drinking? I think it’s the only time I’m glad there will be not Xmas party 😂

I had a good nights sleep last night but have just woken up from a 2 hour nap on the sofa! I’m constantly knackered- not that I’m complaining. I haven’t had any nausea yet but previously that hasn’t kicked in until week 7. I’ve got an early scan on the 7th I’m so nervous just hoping they see a heartbeat 💗

OP posts:
Drl94 · 28/11/2020 16:06

@Sallyjo27 I’m so excited for you, fingers crossed you see a heartbeat👏🏼💖!

We’re off to my MIL’s for xmas and we’ve told her I’m pregnant so I won’t even be offered any (which will help) haha. I’ve just ordered some work trousers and decided to go up a size so hopefully they’ll fit when I start showing. Hopefully if I put weight on over xmas, my work friends will put it down to holiday weight and not pregnancyGrin

Same here, had a long nap on the sofa this afternoon STILL TIRED. I’m still feeling nauseous in the mornings but it passes so quick that I’ve put it down to hunger

Sallyjo27 · 28/11/2020 16:46

@Drl94 thank you!
Ahh that’s great! We’ve decided not to tell our in-laws because the last 3 times we have, we’ve had to un-tell them so we’re not telling them until we have the 12 week scan. Plus my MIL can’t keep her mouth shut and tells everyone 🙄
I’ve had to do the same! The bloating is unreal, I look about 6 months pregnant now haha
I know what you mean, I’m always hungry but feel full really quick if that makes sense lol
Will anyone else be going for an early scan?

OP posts:
Drl94 · 28/11/2020 17:13

That’s the one thing I’m worried about IF I have to un-tell, but I lost my own mum in 2018 so she’s the closest thing I have to one so that’s why we’ve told her for support if it happens!

I am never full that’s my problem, I can just eat and eat and eat. I got to my goal weight at the end of Sept and now I’m pregnant I’m using that as an excuse to just eat😂😂. Not the best thing to do!

I’m also going for an early scan on the 18th and I am so excited!! I’m excited for you, not far until your scan💖 xx

Flipflops10 · 29/11/2020 12:56

Hi everyone - I'm also pregnant and according to the calculators online am due end of July/early August! Getting some cramping and occasional a wave of nausea (but then wonder if I've imagined it) and very bloated in the evenings. No sore boobs though! I almost want more symptoms to be sure something is going on there! Hope you're all doing ok!

Sallyjo27 · 29/11/2020 14:22

@Drl94 I’m so sorry you lost your mum. I agree, that’s why I’ve told some family too. We haven’t told DH parents because they weren’t very supportive through our losses at all so we thought there’s no point in telling them anyway.
Ahaha I’m using it as an excuse to eat what ever I want too! No dieting before Xmas for us! 😂

Ahh are you going private? I’ve used window to the womb and ultrasound direct previously and they were both really good. The staff were so professional.

@Flipflops10 congratulations! I’ve had some cramping too but mostly it seems to be trapped wind with me 😩 I feel like that with the nausea too although brushing my teeth seems to be nearly impossible in the mornings

How is everyone feeling?
