Hi all anyone else just found they are expecting? My due date is August 1st. Currently 4w3d x

@Sallyjo27 we’ve gone for window to the womb - they had great reviews and it’s nice to hear from an actual person too rather than reading reviews!

I’ve got some brown spotting when I wipe and lower back pain today. Just hoping it’s nothing to worry about and from reading different threads it seems alright (fingers crossed). Tried to call midwives but no one is answering the phone😩

How are you feeling today?

@Drl94 I know this is easier said than done but try not to worry, it’s very common in pregnancy. It could be implantation bleeding. Do you have a local early pregnancy unit in your hospital you can call? X

Thank you @Sallyjo27 ! Yes I think a lot of my bloating / cramping is caused by the same.
I couldn't decide whether to go for a private scan or not, but I think I'd rather wait until after Christmas anyway, and then it won't be long until my 12 week scan.

I had a question about dating- I'm 4.5 weeks since my last period- but the nhs app dating app says I am 5 weeks because my cycle is short. Not sure how much it matters but wondered if anyone had the same!

@Drl94 I hope you're ok and you're able to get checked out / some re assurance! Sunday's are always difficult for that aren't they!!

@Sallyjo27 @Flipflops10 thanks guys, unfortunately they are closed today🙃 so will call tomorrow. Now, I’m out of bed and meal planning for the week, my back ache has gone down so must have been how I was sat in bed (fingers crossed)

On the app, you can chose between completed weeks or current week. Maybe it has something to do with that?

Hi everyone! Found out last week that I'm expecting, due Aug 2nd.
I've been very bloated and a bit crampy, but mainly in a windy sort of way I think!
This will be my second baby, I have a 23 month old. Slightly concerned that my boobs aren't feeling any different like they did last time, although I am still breastfeeding once a day, so maybe I just can't feel anything anymore!
I'm considering booking an early scan for just before Christmas, then I can have a more relaxing break if it's good news, or I can have a drink if it's not!

Can I join? I'm due August 3rd by my calendar. It's my first.

We want to keep it quiet over Christmas and wait until January to tell anyone. I usually don't drink anyway but family would expect a glass or two over Christmas so think I'll be pretending to drink somehow.

@YesHeIsMyFirstBaby I don't have any changes to my boobs either - which seems strange when lots of people say they do but then also read people saying they've had no symptoms at all.

If it helps with the fake alcohol situation, I had a glass of the Freixenet 0.0% Prosecco (or consecco or sham-pagne as me & my husband are now calling it) at the weekend and it's really tasty, close to Prosecco taste too!

I’m due August 5th - 2nd baby. We found out quite early (last Wednesday) before I was due on. Not telling anyone yet - we had 2 miscarriages this year so being quite cautious with this one. Congratulations everyone! X

I keep thinking it's too early to have any symptoms and I'm just imagining the nausea in my head! Does anyone else feel this way?

Hi everyone
Just really needed to speak with you all today to get some reassurance hopefully. I have no children and this is my 3rd pregnancy with IVF. First one early miscarriage found at the 7 week scan, second baby had 13 weeks scan and a diagnosis of Edward syndrome in May this year, 3rd pregnancy now and I'm 9 weeks 2 days today. I had the CARE scan at 7weeks and lovely heartbeat with measurements being correct.

So the reason for this message today is because for the last week it seems that all my symptoms have disappeared and frankly I'm terrified. My boobs dont hurt and have shrunk back really, no nausea the only thing I'm still is very emotional (cry at the drop of a hat) and sensitive.

Now my partner says the boob thing is probably because I've stopped taking the injections and so I'm not pumping myself full of Oestrogen (he may have point) I'm still on pessaries and tablets until the 12 weeks. I have my booking appointment next Monday and im praying they get me in for the scan sooner rather than later as on the 19th i will be 12 weeks!

Basically just wanted to know from those that are further along is if anyone else had this?

I’m due 6th August, found out last Wednesday. It’ll be my first baby 😊 I’ve got my midwife appointment next Tuesday and an early scan booked for 20th December xx

Hello! So sorry to hear you have had a tough time of it. I wouldn’t be too worried and think what your partner said could be very true. Although if you have worries or don’t feel right, always go and get checked! For your peace of mind if anything and to reduce your stress levels.

Hi I’m 5+4 with our 1st. I’m already so bloated. I’m petite at 5ft2 and just under 7.5 stone and my lovely flat tummy has disappeared already! I can’t even imagine how huge I am going to get, there’s no where for baby to go but out! Has anyone else noticed their core has just melted overnight? I have a horse and I seem to have lost all ability to ride and feel out of breath a lot quicker.

Symptom wise I get nauseous first thing, mid afternoon and then just before dinner. Very tired and the odd headache.

We’re going for an early scan at 8 weeks just before Christmas so we can tell both our parents/siblings/grandparents etc on Christmas. Will probably wait till 12 week scan to tell the world!

I've just used a face mask (beauty one) since finding out I was pregnant and it said to leave on for five minutes, after two it started burning so I washed it off and now my face is so red! Is is just my skin being overly sensitive with all the new hormones?

Hello. Just found out I am pregnant, going by last period I am very early. 3 weeks 2 days. Had a faint line so took a digital and got positive 1-2!! Due around 17th August 👶

@buckingmad I am also very bloated but have never had a flat stomach sadly!

@zeerecords I'm finding that with my cleansing oil, I had sensitive skin before and it was always fine and now it makes my face really sting if I use it x

Hi all, I got my BFN this morning and judging from online calculators, it's looking like an Aug baby. This will be our first so this is all very new to me. I'm sure I'll be asking less of questions.

I was due on yesterday and had had a week of sore boobs which isn't really a pre AF symptom for me. But I had some brown coloured light spotting yesterday so was expecting to come on. After no sign of AF, I did a couple of tests and got our BFN 🙂

Hi again all, congrats to everyone who has their BFP’s. Took another test this morning expecting a 2-3 but got a 3+. Private scan on the 20th to check all is well 🤞

How is everyone feeling?
I have super sore boobs, exhausted and moody - heartburn is going to kill me im pretty sure and this morning it tastes like I’m sucking spoons! I should be 5+2 today if all is well

This is my first pregnancy after trying unsuccessfully for more than 3 years. We conceived first try via IVF (FET) in the end. We feel so lucky!
Due 8th August if the IVF due date calculators online can be trusted. Because we’re still with the assisted conception unit at our hospital, we have a scan with them on the 18th. 🤞🏼
