A friend who is due in November has had a CS booked in for 15 Oct as baby is big and breech. She will prob have the baby before me!

Ah I’ve found you again, I name changed and lost the chat for a while! It’s my due date today and I’m feeling all sorts but nothing definite, can’t wait for this baby to arrive now! Any new babies arrived today?

My due date was 26th September, have gone over (typical) it's my first baby and I can't wait to meet her!

My waters broke quite spectacularly yesterday morning at bang on 7am when DP clicked the kettle down to boil. It's like baby knew and she didn't want her dad having his morning coffee!
I have been having tightenings but nothing progressing. Booked in for induction in 2 hours time. I'm hoping things will progress quicker once it's started as I hate hospitals and would much rather DP be there with me.

@treacle81 congratulations, glad he is here. Thinking of you and hope you are doing ok.

I've had practically no sleep, had so many cramps, back ache and what I can only describe as feeling like baby is dropping down, he seems quite active to me. I'm confused if that means he is coming soon or not and my body is still preparing. I dont think I've had any contractions and never had Braxton hicks previously so suddenly I feel really confused about what is happening... I know that sounds really stupid!!

@LexiM I think cramps and backache are a good thing. Active seems good too,
I think it's good when they're active all the way though until birth. I'm wide awake now, dp was rustling around for some pain killers about an hour ago so now I can't her back to sleep, spd hurting so I've now had to have some paracetamol too. Woken up for some cereal and a little read then will try again to sleep. X

Still no baby or even signs now they all vanished .. 🙄 second sweep booked for tomorrow so Praying that sets things off as don't want to be induced... my body definitely never gets the memo that 40 weeks cooking is adequate 🤣🙈

I actually slept of last night (apart from being awake 6 times for the loo) I really need to get some oxytocin flowing over the next few days. Really hoping to find out when my growth scan is today, they've been so slow at booking it in!

Happy due date to me and the other 5th October mamas - still having pretty intense contractions overnight coming around every 7 minutes. Then they taper off in the morning around 4am. But I did start losing my mucus plug last night, so they're clearly doing something! 🤞
