@LexiM I had a very odd evening too, I think I was having Braxton hicks with possibly the odd “real” contraction thrown in? Baby was very active and I was getting pain in my lower back and low down in my abdomen too, at times I had to breathe through them. I was also getting such a strange hip pain and my leg started giving way...so not sure if that was baby pushing/dropping down further. I honestly have no idea how to tell if they were all Braxton hicks or not?! Also woken up with occasional tightenings still but no pain...You read so much saying BHs aren’t painful or frequent but this lasted about 2 hours, although I didn’t time them, and were definitely more than uncomfortable 🤯 I’m 39+2 so can only hope it’s just things gearing up?

Does anyone know - is there a difference between the mucus plug and your bloody show? I thought they were the same thing. The bits I was losing last night were dark brown, like old blood...

Sounds like things are definitely getting going @otterbaby - have no clue re bloody show vs mucus plug- I thought they were one and the same to be honest, but I know nothing and am too much of a wimp to google what it might look like 😂

I had been having LOADS of thick discharge for weeks, but my mucus plug didnt come out til I was 9cm and pushing. It literally popped out like a cork. DH it was like jelly, and it was one of the many things he 'really didnt need to see' 😅

Congratulations on baby Cameron @Treacle81 you absolute super star. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a traumatic delivery. Sending you both love and wishes of a speedy recovery. He is beautiful

@Spark27 good to know. It's all just so uncertain, isn't it? Might lose your plug, might have your waters break...sick of symptom spotting!

I didn't lose my plug until well into labour last time so am trying not to get to tied up in it this time 🙈 and I'm giving up Symptom spotting because I had them all couple weeks ago and since due date literally nothing 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

@Spark27 don't know if I did it a hard way but I clicked on bottom left icon, then top right, then something like my mumsnet then you have to find the message picture on there. It's not straightforward at all 🙈

@Spark27 I had to log in to the actual website, I don't know if you can do it from the app (or at least the version that I'm on!).

I think I've added people who have sent email addresses (Hopefully has worked as I've not set up a group before!) I think it does need people's email address as I don't have anyone as a friend on there so I wouldn't want to send the invite to the wrong person on facebook if you just give a name. Also if anyone has done this before/ wants to be an admin let me know.

You've added me, thank you for setting up! Maybe when everyone posts for the first time tell everyone their screen name too so we can know who is who! X

@bluemoon2468 hope labour is going well, you're doing amazing!

I had the day from hell yesterday. Was fine all morning, went for a nap and when I woke up the end of world hormones hit. My milk has come in but as I'm ff they're massive and sore, my csection wound had really started to nip as it's healing and I just couldn't stop crying. All the hormones were making me feel really sick too and I couldn't lean over into toilet so had to use kitchen sink 🤮 so dh had baby full night while I just sobbed, puked and lay in pain.

Still not great today but no tears or puke - the baby blues day is a very real thing so watch out!

Looking forward to more babies being born ❤️❤️

Oh @Quiffy, your milk coming in will do that to your hormones. I remember I was a flipping mess. So emotional. Nice tight bra and breast pads and leave them well alone ❤

@quiffy sounds like you are having a hard time of it at the moment!

@BettyBotter1 I think it should have sent to your email that you sent through, maybe check the spam folder? Also I think it has to be the email address that your facebook account is linked to, but I'm not sure as to what it comes up as.
