Im having a scan to see if we can see a heartbeat or if there has been no growth

I have about a 50/50 chance I SO hope that its good news.

FFS!!! Still inconclusive.

The black hole which they think is the gestational sac has grown but is still empty.

They have taken my bloods and have to ring in the morning for them and then another scan NEXT WEEK.

So this is going to be hanging over me over xmas.

pecka, i asked where you live in case you are close to a private scanning centre. if you can afford it, they often have far better equipment and are likely to give you a more accurate answer. with this pg i was told by my local hosp that it wasn't viable, but later the same day i saw a hb at a private place

How far along were you when they said it wasnt viable?

They cant even tell me for definite that it is a pregnancy never mind how far along i am.

She even said today I might actually just be a blood clot but then why the hell am I producing HCG?

Im in newcastle upon tyne BTW

yes we do

my dh is a heamatologist at another local hospital

he has just gone to work on a nightshift and has rund my hospitals lab for my results (bit naughty i nkow but shhhh)

anyway the level today was 1817 which is nowhere near doubling

its definitely over i reckon

im now wondering why i told him to do that as im now on my own and upset!
