Im having a scan to see if we can see a heartbeat or if there has been no growth

I have about a 50/50 chance I SO hope that its good news.

DO keep an eye on that shoulder pain though, as someone else pointed out it can be a sign of an ectopic.
how are you feeling? and has dh been in touch?

hi, had my friends round which turned out to be fine

have had a drink, havent dared before now in case i was pregnant and it has helped

dh still not in

have had a bit of rib pain like an odd stitch when i breathe but presuming thats not connected

i now just feel bloated and a bit crampy

pecka one sided pain and shoulder pain is a sign of ectopic.
Please do not muck around - I cannot believe they cannot give you any answers.
When an embryo stops growing int eh 1st 6 weeks, hcg levels plummet, they do not still rise
Another option could be molar pregnancy ?? but I know very little about that.
I am so and worried for you honey xxxx

Oh Pecka, just seen this hun. It's shit isn't it? Never a good time but over christmas is crap.

You must look after yourself. Your dh needs to pull out his finger, when I m/c I could not have done it without dh. Talk to him.

I hope that your ok. Well.... as well as can be expected.

If you feel that you need to talk about this one to one with someone, call the hospitals EPU unit or your GP and they should have a list of organisations that deal with and help women who miscarry.

A relative of mine just had an ectopic pregnancy and the hospital were really slow. It ruptured and she was seriously ill...

Tell your dh you need him. Sometimes men need really clear instructions about how to be supportive. Don't wait for him to work it out for himself!

Was watching your thread and really sad for you, best wishes. Things will get better.
