Think it would be really cool to keep up a thread with ladies due around the same time and we can all discuss our daily problems and have a good bitch! Something to pass the oh so agonising days and see how people's pregnancies are progressing compared to eachothers (so we can get really jealous when they go into labour lol) x

Haha! I'm having a section on 27th so 2.5 weeks and counting. Packed my bags this morning though so if baby wants to come early that'd be ok by me! Unlikely though!

This is my third and my babies are big (11lbs & 9lbs so far). This one was 7lbs a week and a half ago so I find it very unfair that I've to carry around a full size newborn for a month! I get out of breath walking from one room to the next, pee 5/6 times a night and have zero energy for poor DS and DD!

This is my last though and have friends struggling to get pregnant so am trying to remember how lucky I am (between gasps for air!)

butternut22 · 09/01/2015 20:46

I am due 18th Jan with second. Feel like shit! Have a 2 year old. Absolutely friggin desperate to go into labour!

Bondy83 · 09/01/2015 21:34

I'm not due til 26th Feb but oh my god am I ready for this child to come out. I've still got another 3 wks left too work but really struggling with mu hips and back the hot water bottle has become my best friend

Firstimemummy15 · 09/01/2015 21:38

I'm due on 20th with my first. Want baby out now but feel guilty saying that! Lol. Am very uncomfortable, and having difficulty sleeping, hot water bottle in situ at the moment!!!

BlingBubbles · 09/01/2015 21:44

I am due on 14 jan so not long to go now... Also want this baby out of me! I am heavy, waddling around, out of breath and it takes all my effort to tun over in bed!!!

I have a 3 year old DD who is also patiently waiting for her baby brother to arrive.

bigfam · 09/01/2015 21:51

Yay! I love knowing I'm not alone. I've got 3 weeks left but with my other 3 only carried to 37 38 and 39 wks, all very good sizes for gestation although curiously 3rd weighed the least and she was nearly term?! Hmm
Anyhow I've been having regular and painful contractions since 34 wks and been in hospital twice! You'd think being on my 4th I'd know better but they're steadily getting worse every night so hopefully it'll be soon. I've got a feeling she's going to be bigger aswell cos my last 3 I always measured small and had to have growth scans but measuring spot on dates. Soz for rant, sat here having my cervix and bladder pummeled!

[waves] hi ladies, I'm due 28 Jan w my first - sore hips, can't roll over in bed without sitting up first, awake every hour at night to pee, etc etc. On mat leave and basically just massively bored. I know people say to enjoy these last few days of freedom but, bloody hell, how?? I am still walking, doing yoga, bouncing on the ball but the days are just draaaaaagging. Anyone else?

butternut22 · 10/01/2015 07:13

Hi. Days are dragging for me to. My toddler who has always woken up at 8 has started getting up at 5 for the past couple of weeks. Maybe he is trying to prepare me for the sleep deprivation. I have to go to antenatal clinic this morning because of my high pulse. Been bouncing on a ball as well!! Am 39 weeks tomorrow!!

ShoeJunkie · 10/01/2015 07:25

Can I join in? Due on the 27th buy DS was a week late so who knows?! My back hurts, my hips hurt and I can't do anything without getting breathless!
Oh and DS was 8lb 6oz and it looks like I'm on track for another big baby. Confused

LuckyAugust · 10/01/2015 07:35

Hi ladies, can I join you? I'm having a section on 26th January when I'll be exactly 38 weeks. The date cannot come soon enough. Expecting ds3 and am so uncomfortable!!! I've always enjoyed being pregnant before and never had any problems but this time has been totally different. This will be our last baby also (says with sigh of relief!Grin ) and all going to plan I'm getting sterilised straight after my section Wink

bigfam · 10/01/2015 07:52

Me too pp, I've never waneed any of my other pregnancies over like I do this one. Every night I get the contractions I just pray I get that one big one! My bodies being so cruel with my last 3 there was no doubt I was in labour but I'm so hopeless this time! I just want my little girl in my arms! I'm also convinced I'm not guna get to the hospital in time and I'll end up at home without anyone here! Confused

Hi I'm due number 2 on the 27th, according to midwife yesterday she's fully engaged. We've had one false alarm already so I'm hoping she arrives soon. DS was 2 weeks late and I'm trying not to think about that because I can't bear the thought of another 4 weeks of pregnancy!
I'm a bit nervous about going into labour as my DH is in the forces and is based 5-6 hours drive from our home mon-fri Shock

babyblabber · 10/01/2015 10:39

ShoeJunkie, 8lbs 6 isn't that big at all!

babyblabber · 10/01/2015 10:43

Pressed send to soon.

Cannot believe how the days are dragging, it's painful! My poor kids are watching so much tv these days, no way I could manage even the playground now. Just walked to the shops down the road and forgot to wear my serola support belt, 10 mins and my back is killing me now!!!

To cheer myself up I've started buying some nice non-maternity clothes in the sales! They won't fit for months and most won't work with breastfeeding but it's definitely helps me focus on life on the other side!!

bigfam · 10/01/2015 12:03

I can't stop tidying everything! And I'm not tired atall find myself wide awake at midnight every night. Anyone else also lost their appetite? I don't feel sick or anything I just literally don't feel hungry at all, up until about 3 wks ago I had to eat regularly otherwise I'd be sick Hmm
I find this odd. X

38 weeks and due on the 22nd... but midwife thinks I will go over :( ... DESPERATE for bub to come now! Im so uncomfortable with SPD and bloating... have just started getting stretch marks over my tummy as well which Im hoping wont grow in the next couple of weeks!!! I am also ravenously hungry!!!! ... Looking forward to meeting my little one!!

butternut22 · 10/01/2015 14:02

Bigfam I have lost my appetite a bit. I am not interested in food this week . It may be because I have been such pig for nine months that now my body has had enough!!

ShoeJunkie · 10/01/2015 14:35

babyblabber I know but big enough and this one is a potential 9lber!

Love the idea of buying non maternity clothes in the sale - I am so bored of the few things that still fit!

Have major heartburn every time I eat but that doesn't seem to have stopped me troughing all the Christmas chocolates.

bigfam · 10/01/2015 15:03

I had to force myself to eat cake earlier.
Never in my life did I think that would happen

Cherrypi · 10/01/2015 15:08

I've just bought a coat in the sale that won't fit for weeks too. I'm also due on the 15th. Went for a long walk round the shops today hoping to kick things off. Nothing yet.

Ditsydo · 10/01/2015 15:51

First baby due 29th !! Been eating pineapple like no tomorrow, my DP thinks all his luck is in and I've been walking at any excuse come on ladies help me get this baby out I've had enough now !!!! ConfusedConfusedConfused

ChaircatMiaow · 10/01/2015 15:52

38 weeks, due on 25th.

Feeling pretty miserable and sorry for myself now. Weather is in 30s where I am. Too hot to sleep and am currently lying awake with acid reflux.

Is anyone else torn between being glad that's it almost over and sad at the same time?

FTRsGotAShinyNewNN · 10/01/2015 15:54

Bigfam I'm the same, I'm eating through obligation and routine rather than hunger. There's boxes of chocolates from Christmas that haven't even been opened yet Shock

Bimberley · 10/01/2015 15:58

Due 29th. Have just got out of hospital with a false labour. Have kidney and bladder infection instead.
Found out my iron is stupidly low so may need iron transfusions. Racing heart and breathlessness are the side effects of my low iron.

Can you tell I'm grumpy and fed up?

bigfam · 10/01/2015 18:49

I effing hate bh contractions :'(
Its just a huge cruel joke, I'm so exhausted from having them in the evenings but can't switch myself off at night to sleep. (suppose it's practice for when she's here tho) how's everyone else feeling atm? Anyone had any exciting genuine twinges? X
