Think it would be really cool to keep up a thread with ladies due around the same time and we can all discuss our daily problems and have a good bitch! Something to pass the oh so agonising days and see how people's pregnancies are progressing compared to eachothers (so we can get really jealous when they go into labour lol) x

Hey can i join too!

due on 3rd Feb but am convinced its coming early (or just wildly hoping!) First baby, thought i was going in to labour on Tues but was just a false alarm, been getting lots of period pains and strong BH since, went and got checked out and apparently my uterus is irritated, but no sign of baby yet.
Been on crutches since 26 weeks cos of my hips and can't wait now, so uncomfortable and hungry and tired and fed up! I just want to meet my baby and find out what we're having.

the raspberry leaf tea i ordered arrived today and it tastes grim, but anything that helps now!

dragonflyinthelillies · 10/01/2015 19:09

chaircat i can 100% say there is not a part of me that is sad that it will all be over soon... I envy all you that feel this way!

ChaircatMiaow · 10/01/2015 23:07

dragon, you poor thing. Cannot imagine that being heavily pregnant and on crutches is at all fun. Have you finished work? Flowers

Passthebiscuitspls · 11/01/2015 08:06

Hi everyone, can in join in too? I'm 37w with number 3. Section booked for 26th so only 2 weeks to go! I'm also a bit sad that it's going to be over too as this is the last time I'll ever do this. Saying that, I'm totally ready if baby wants to be early, and I'd be pretty thrilled. I'm feeling very big now, tying shoe laces or any bending down involves a lot of huffing and puffing! Not a lot still fits me so rotating a couple of maternity tops that my bump doesn't pop out of the bottom!
Looking forward to seeing some baby news soon. Xx

hayleyanne31 · 11/01/2015 08:38

Hi I'm due on the 21st jan keep thinking I'm going into labour every night. It's my 3rd and never again , the whole 9 months have been so uncomfortable, headaches and tiredness in the beginning and extreme breathlessness and braxton hicks from about 23 weeks. I've said to my family if I ever say I miss being pregnant after I've had the baby they are entitled to give me a slap!

bigfam · 11/01/2015 10:01

Haha pp! I can vaguely remember a time before I fell pregnant with this one that I voiced how much I LOVED being pregnant. Think my poor body has given up on me at only 25!! (this is my 4th tho, and the last ;-) x
I'm waiting for Some1 on this thread to post some exciting updates of labour! X

Yeh I've been off work for 2 months already thankfully! Thought I'd be really bored but I've quite enjoyed it, spending more time with my family has been lovely.

I know what you mean passthebiscuits i don't even wanna get dressed anymore I'm so bored of my selection of about 3 outfits, I've been longingly staring at the rest of my wardrobe for weeks!

araminem · 11/01/2015 10:40

Hi waves. I am due 31st of January, but convinced that he will be late. Which is good...as still have to pack the hospital bag and get my head around it all!

So far not too bad - 'just' dealing with sore hips, reflux and walking at the speed of a sloth. Glad to hear that I am not alone!

Bimberley · 11/01/2015 14:11

Bigfam, I'm the same. On my 3rd and body has well and truly given up this time. No more for me after this.

Dragomfly, I am also only wearing only about 3 outfits or Pjs!

Passthebiscuitspls · 11/01/2015 18:16

Ooohhh yes, I'm living in my pj's! So much better than maternity jeans! Xx

ShoeJunkie · 11/01/2015 20:31

Pjs and jogging bottoms are my go-to items now.

No longer comfortable to sit in any position for any length of time.

Come on babies! Grin

bigfam · 12/01/2015 07:19

SPD kept me up most of the night, along with painful spasms in my back.
Could this be baby on a nerve?

ChaircatMiaow · 12/01/2015 11:25

Bah. Baby is moving around like a mad thing today and it's really hurting. How does she even have room? Boo hoo hoo Sad

butternut22 · 12/01/2015 12:25

My little boy has been up since 4:30 so I feel lush!! Have a consultant appointment this afternoon. Thought I might be having contractions this morning but they stopped so must have been BH's.

Mimosa1 · 12/01/2015 16:24

Due on the 29th as well. Is anyone still working? I don't go in mat leave until the 22nd and starting to think I'm mad! Can work from home some of the time though.

RoomForOneMore · 12/01/2015 18:04

I was due number two 6 days ago, now thoroughly bored and huge. Toddler surviving on over exposure to cbeebies and quick dinners, tonight's delight is cheese and ham pizza...not my finest days of motherhood but I'm sure we'll get through it! She's having a blast, permanently cheery over enthusiastic kids tv presenters are driving me to the brink.

Had midwife today who did a sweep but nothing stirring as yet, booked for induction on Sunday if nothing before then, another 6 days - cries!!

tuffgingernut · 12/01/2015 21:02

Hi all. Due on 8th of Feb. This is my 3rd and I have always enjoyed being pregnant-until this week. Hips are killing, I'm having an ibs attack, hands are swollen and achy and keep over heating and having dizzy spells. Oh the joys. This is my 2nd week of mat leave and don't feel that I've enjoyed any of it yet. I have two elderly grandparents that have both been admitted to different hospitals so been running around sorting things out and taking care of them, their house and their dog. Hopefully can have some me time this week. Grin

TheScenicRoute · 12/01/2015 23:24

I'm due on the 5th of Feb with Twins. Still at work, trying for another 2 weeks full pay before maternity leave. X

Firstimemummy15 · 12/01/2015 23:48

Here is to another sleepless night! Getting fed up of them however am surprised how well I am surviving on littl sleep! It's all good practice I guess! Lol 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow so hopefully not too long to wait now! Hang in their everyone x

BigCatFace · 12/01/2015 23:51

35 weeks and heartburn is driving me to madness :(

bigfam · 13/01/2015 07:53

Aww tuffgingernut sounds hectic. Hope u get that me time too!! Woke up this morning with those pesky period like feelings in my back and they're a bit worse, dropping two at school then taking the otha to town to have a trudge around to see if we can make any progress, please god, I'm begging?! X

Argh twinge twinge. Stop teasing me body.

gincamelbak · 13/01/2015 20:42

Can I join? I am 36+4, due 6 February. This will be DC2.

Had a presentation scan today, baby has been flitting between transverse and breech, today was oblique breech. Have another scan next Tuesday, if no change in position dr will try ECV to turn, if that doesn't work then c section. Am in a bit of denial about it all really...

Struggling to walk at the moment, really painful pelvis. Finish work tomorrow but won't make it to the office as I think we will be snowed in!

Ditsydo · 13/01/2015 23:39

Proped up in bed sobbing while my OH sleeps !! Acid reflux, SPD, constant need to pee and general uncomfortable-ness preventing me from sleeping and now a headache from the crying !! 38 weeks ?! Can I do this for the next 2 ( possibility of 4 ) weeks ??!! ConfusedConfusedSad
