Think it would be really cool to keep up a thread with ladies due around the same time and we can all discuss our daily problems and have a good bitch! Something to pass the oh so agonising days and see how people's pregnancies are progressing compared to eachothers (so we can get really jealous when they go into labour lol) x

Still here at 41+1! I had my 2nd sweep today so hopefully that might get things going. I'm booked for induction on Sunday if not!

araminem · 10/02/2015 18:12

wave at MaximumVolume. I am still here too, at 41+3. Had my first sweep today (said no to one last week). If nothing happens I will be induced on Thursday.

MaximumVolume · 11/02/2015 08:01

Baby is here! We escaped induction by him arriving the day before, very quick labour (under 4 hours from start to finish). He's a big boy (9lb 1 ) at birth. Got home last night. Bliss to be home!

araminem · 16/02/2015 18:36

Baby is here too! Didn't escape induction (started on Thursday) and ended with a C-section on Friday. We made it home this afternoon. It was good to be in hospital and have support, but great to be home as well! It has been good to feel like I was on this journey with others so thank you all! And congratulations on the babies!

Congratulations to you both. We're on day 10 now and it's like we've always had her Smile

araminem · 17/02/2015 18:03

That sounds good to know. A question for those who are further along than me! If you are breastfeeding...does it hurt? I have been told the latch is fine by they still look a bit sore and cracked a bit. The pain is just about manageable, but don't want it getting worse Smile

Also, is it inly me? But I am in day 4 and since yesterday afternoon I keep on crying!

FTRsGotAShinyNewNN · 17/02/2015 22:06

If breastfeeding hurts it might be that the latch is not quite right, ask your community midwife or health visitor to check for you. The crying thing is totally normal, days 4-6 tend to be when the 'baby blues' hot, the iPhoto's and adrenalin have worn off and you get a massive hormone fluctuation it should pass but if it doesn't, again speak to your midwife/health visitor

Congrats MV and Araminem! I thought you'd abandoned us without telling us u'd had ur baby's, I'm glad u came back!!!
My l.o is 3weeks today! It goes so quickly, I just sit and cuddle most of the day away cos before we know it they'll be running round. Xx
