Think it would be really cool to keep up a thread with ladies due around the same time and we can all discuss our daily problems and have a good bitch! Something to pass the oh so agonising days and see how people's pregnancies are progressing compared to eachothers (so we can get really jealous when they go into labour lol) x

Congratulation former!

Still nothing to report here Hmm

Ditsydo · 18/01/2015 21:33

Nothing to report ... On and off period pains, constant back ache, really thought something was happening in the night woke up three times with pains and drifting back off and disappointed when I woke up in the morning with nothing !! Confused

Congrats !!

FTRsGotAShinyNewNN · 18/01/2015 22:41

Ditsy I'm exactly the same, it's so frustrating Confused seeing my midwife on Friday though and think if it's possible i might be having a sweep, so fingers crossed Grin

Firstimemummy15 · 18/01/2015 23:05

I'm seeing midwife and having a sweep on Friday too! Have heard mixed opinions on them but I'm happy to give anything ago!

bigfam · 19/01/2015 06:49

Congrats former. I see my midwife Friday aswell, no sweep for me ( she won't even check my cervix til I'm term) will be 38+5 by then, and my other 3 were all born 37 38 & 39, so it's really going to be hard cos I've just got a feeling my little one is holding on in there til all u lovely ladies have ur beautiful babies! Nothing to report here, 38+1. Been feeling very twingey and had period pains on and off so thought my luck was in but nothing!! Gutted! I'm booked in for a section next week so I know I'm not going to go past 39 weeks which is brill, I was secretly hoping it would come a bit earlier though. Wishful thinking as my others were late.

Congrats to all the mummies who have given birth the last few days, I'm very jealous!! ;)

FTMinSingapore · 19/01/2015 10:19

37+3 here, due 6th feb. Can't wait to meet my little girl and soooo done with all the various symptoms! Ftm so pretty nervous about labour too

Ditsydo · 19/01/2015 10:48

bigfam · 19/01/2015 12:04

39 & 4, lost my plug last week, was kept up all night the other night with strong Braxton hicks', keep getting sharp pains in my err lower area and I'm DESPERATE for this bub to come out now!! (can you tell I'm grumpy) Sad

theycallmemom4 · 20/01/2015 04:27

Well I had my membranes swept Friday and was told I was 3vcm but still very long and thick cervix.. Apparently baby girl isn't ready. I'm going for a non stress test tomorrow afternoon hope there's a change as I'm now going on 6 days past my EDD. Haven't felt any consistent contractions either. Womp womp.

FTMinSingapore · 20/01/2015 04:58

I have a checkup tomorrow, hopefully for the first time the doc will tell me if I'm engaged, dilated, etc. some progress would be nice, getting bored and restless now! Rubbish nights sleep again Hmm

ChaircatMiaow · 20/01/2015 05:18

39+2 and nothing to report here. Been having periody cramps for the past two weeks but nothing that's getting stronger or regular. Will be getting a sweep next Tuesday. The thought of still being pregnant then is so depressing.

FTMinsingapore, you must be just as hot (and miserable) as I am here in sydney?

FTMinSingapore · 20/01/2015 06:12

I seem to be managing ok in the heat out here, its always about 31c but i've lived here for 2 1/2yrs now (originally from the uk). Thank god for aircon Grin

GailLondon · 20/01/2015 11:57

38+5, feel awful today, sweating and aching back all last night. No contractions or anything yet though.

Firstimemummy15 · 20/01/2015 12:03

Today is due date! Apart from a wriggly baby and managing to sleep on and off until 9.30am today (which is unheard of) don't feel like I'll be meeting bump anytime soon Grin

MaximumVolume · 20/01/2015 14:09

Still feeling generally niggly. I haven't had a day since about Thursday where I haven't had a moment of thinking "is this it?"!

I saw the MW this morning and good baby is back the right way around (I.e. Not back to back).

Blood pressure was quite a lot higher than my normal (only slightly raised compared with a normal person at 130/80, but I'm generally at about 100/60!). MW did say that bp can go up just before labour. At the moment if I saw a sign I the tea leaves I'd cling to it!

gincamelbak · 20/01/2015 14:40

Sounds like some babies need to get a move on!

Went for second presentation scan this morning - last week baby was oblique breech. This morning baby is transverse. So, some movement in the right direction. Have another scan next week to see if there's any more of a shift, if not then we will talk with the Doc about ECV. he's positive about success of the procedure, also thinks that baby could well move.

Am 37+4 and already bored of keeping up a chipper "yes yes all is fine" front when all I want to do is hibernate and have the baby. Bearing in mind DD was born 13 days overdue, I could have another month or so of this. Sobs.

Good luck everyone!

bigfam · 20/01/2015 16:29

I've now got something to occupy me whilst I wait for bubba's arrival. We've been offered a property I bid on! (long story but basically there should of been no chance of us getting it, there's five of us in a mobile home and with the baby due it was going to be stressful) anyway it's literally just up the road so I won't have to disrupt the kids by changing schools etc! I'm so happy it's unreal! Grin
We just need our little girl and we'll be a big happy family! X

bigfam that's great news!

Still nothing here - just a very wiggly bump.

FTRsGotAShinyNewNN · 20/01/2015 17:57

Great news bigfam, that must be a massive weight off your mind Smile

Still nothing here, but crazy cleaning and loads of energy today, appetite has picked up again with a vengeance, hopefully these are all good signs Smile

bigfam · 20/01/2015 18:56

Thanks guys. Im just gonna be patient with baby now, I guess she'll come when she's ready. 11 days isn't that long O:)

Had my checkup this morning, plenty of fluid still, baby active, basically no signs of her being ready to make her grand entrance

MaximumVolume · 21/01/2015 12:09

I'm so grumpy today. Find myself feeling envious of people with planned sections. I feel I could cope if I only knew when it would all happen!
