He is 2.10. The book says by this age he should be able to hold wees for about three hours. He had a drink around an hour ago and since then has done six wees , three in the potty (after prompting) and three in large puddles on the floor. Surely this isn't normal??? Even if he is trained we will spend our whole lives in the toilet. Me, him, and the baby. Hurrah. Or does he wee too much to be capable of training and will he therefore have to spend his whole life in nappies? And not go to the pre school he is due to start next term because they want him trained. .. And I am desperate for him to get to so I can get him out of my hair for a bit..

Stressed....

Make that four puddles on the floor...

Hi queen, does pooland deal with the toilet, as Jr is stubbornly sticking to the potty, he will wee on the toilet tho! Oblomov, your ds sounds brilliant, we have that many public and embarrassing accidents in a day!

How are all you other mums and little tiddlers doing?

QueenSconetta · 01/05/2012 18:41

Yes it does Calam. PM me your email and I will forward.

Soooo proud, Princess got a certificate at CM for no accidents, and did a massive poo in the toilet! Grin

Calamityboo · 01/05/2012 20:21

Well one poo accident again, at his Uncles house, so out of his routine, lets see how he does tomorrow!

QueenSconetta · 01/05/2012 21:09

Emailed you Calam, x

Calamityboo · 01/05/2012 21:10

Thanks queen.

Not sure if MiniMin had an accident at nursery or not. She had been changed, except for pants and vest, and the bagged up clothes were dry-ish but covered in squashed baked beans. So, the Sherlock Holmes in me tells me that this was a food incident, although the nursery worker told me she'd had a wee accident Hmm

I've PM'd you, Queen :)

Oblomov - I think that you are absolutely right - with so many things in parenthood, be led by what the child is ready for and try not to worry.

QueenSconetta · 02/05/2012 07:40

Hi Min. Will get that to you soon as, x.

QueenSconetta · 02/05/2012 12:12

Hi Again Minshu, now sent, x.

QueenSconetta · 02/05/2012 20:02

Argh! Poo in pants tonight. Nearly 6 days clean and dry and then poo in pants...

Minshu · 02/05/2012 21:09

Thanks, Queen:) [flower]

Sorry to hear about the accident. Another clean and dry day here, with no poo. She started talking about wanting a poo just before bed time, but I think it was a delay tactic. I think. She has a nappy for night time still, so not worried.

Minshu · 02/05/2012 21:10

D'oh - that was meant to be Thanks

Calamityboo · 02/05/2012 21:33

Same as mini min here, clean and dry but no poo, not worried though he had 2 yesterday and managed to get one of them in the potty!

Thanks for the poo land queen. Princess had a good run of clean and dry, it is good really!

QueenSconetta · 06/05/2012 18:14

How are you all getting on? How is Pooland working out? We have had a sick bug here but still doing ok, think the poo in pants may have been related. X.

bringmesunshine2009 · 06/05/2012 20:21

Disaster so am in hiding. After getting to one accident a day, am back up to 5 today. FAIL! Well done everyone else though x

Minshu · 07/05/2012 21:59

Sorry to hear things aren't great, sunshine. And hope the royal household is over the sickness bug very quickly.

Been off line due to having visitors. After being clean and dry for about 10 days, it's not been the best weekend. A couple of small wee-accidents where she stopped herself at the first dribble, then finished off on the toilet. But, also a big wee on the bathroom floor, and several poos in pants. We did have some poo in the toilet but then regressed. I think she's totally sick of us nagging her to go, but she does still need reminding when she's jiggling about, legs crossed, hand on crotch... Hmm

We've read pooland a few times this afternoon, but not sure it's sunk in with her yet.

We will all get there, won't we?
