holly, dd is awake two or three times a night as well now she is getting worse not better and wants bfibng back to sleep. I think cos she only snacks in the day she wants more at night. I could try more feeds in the day, but then she loses interest in food. tis a vicious circle.

milkyJammy · 06/02/2008 14:31

C waking an average of 2 x per night too. Have had a couple of nights sleeping through, but nomally needs some feed.

CalicoHollyFlint · 06/02/2008 14:34

Glad it's not just me with a norty baby!

I made carrot and honey soup the other day and gave some to ds without even thinking. Whoops. I only realised afterwards that he shouldn't have had it. He was fine though.

annobal · 06/02/2008 14:38

Not that I am in any way shape or form an expert Daisy, but I tried cutting down on DS3s feeds, so he is now only feeding 3 times in the day - he tends to have 3 really large feeds now. Seems to have worked for him...

annobal · 06/02/2008 14:39

that's bf (he also has 3 meals)

annobal · 06/02/2008 14:41

Anyone want CLBB or CLBB of weaning (free)?

LardyMardyDaisy · 06/02/2008 14:45

fuck...babyboo was scuttling around under the desk and started screaming. She has hit her head on something and has a lump and bruise (and has taken some loose skin off) right at the edge of her fontanelle. She wont stop crying

should i call the docs?

annobal · 06/02/2008 14:47

Yes - i'm sure she'll be fine but worth putting your mind at ease

LardyMardyDaisy · 06/02/2008 14:50

she's stopped now and seems OK.

she hit the edge of a wooned box i think.

once again I'm reminded that this house is NOT babyproof

LardyMardyDaisy · 06/02/2008 14:50

oops, wooden

HellHathNoFury · 06/02/2008 14:52

Hello all
Daisy I hope daisyboo is ok

DS is pretty ill and passing blood. DH has taken him to GP. A&E won't see him for 2 hours so I guess GP it is then. He has been under the weather since saturday but it getting worse and has a temp of 102 and is sweating up a storm.
He has been screaming for days.

Never rains but it pours hey.

As for all you honey ponderers... DH is great but I do wish he wouldn't feed DS peanut butter. I have since pointed out the error of his ways.

annobal · 06/02/2008 14:55

Poor DS . Hope he gets seen soon and is okay.

Good to hear that bb is okay, Daisy.

HellHathNoFury · 06/02/2008 14:59

Hi Annobal

Got your email - not been able to reply as yet, been too busy and stressed but I will!

LardyMardyDaisy · 06/02/2008 15:00

oh fury poor little fury. I hope he is OK.

babyboo is fine. grumpy and sore, but she seems ok. I called my HV who said to keep an eye on her and if she vomits or is excessively sleepy or her fontanelle bulges at all then call the GP.

I've put somr arnica cream on it.

HellHathNoFury · 06/02/2008 15:04

tbh I am exhausted. DS has always been a funny eater but apart from that he was a little champ. Since going to nursery he has had an array of illnesses, this being the worst. I am in half a mind to give up work and have him at home and not subject him to any more disease

We have had no sleep in days, DS is clearly in a lot of pain. Just don't know what to do. Hopefully the gp finds what is wrong and can help him.

milkyJammy · 06/02/2008 15:10

Hope babyboo is ok Daisy - sure she will be but good to have checked with HV.

Fury, hopefulyy DS will build up his immune system soon to all the nursery bugs, but I gather it can take a while

HellHathNoFury · 06/02/2008 15:19

Jammy you are right about the bugs, but i expected coughs and colds, not blood in his wee

HellHathNoFury · 06/02/2008 15:27

Anyway I am off now. Bye y'all

annobal · 06/02/2008 15:28

Bye Fury - let us know how DS is.

Izzybel · 06/02/2008 16:21

Hi all! Just checking in while DD is sleeping. Ahh so lovely and peaceful . I wondered why they can't have honey but apparently it can cause boutillism (sp?) which causes babies to build up a bacteria in their intestines or bowel, or something ike that. I'm not sure how serious it is, but I completely forgot and gave DD a honey glazed parsnip, but she's fine.
Fury and Daisy hope your DS and DD are ok.

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 06/02/2008 16:25

here and here

the first link puts it into perspective!

Sputnik · 06/02/2008 17:24

Poor Baby Fury
Hope they can figure out what it is.

Meant to say earlier, welcome back Holly, unfortunatly DD has discovered the computer, so not much time to post here.

Ria and MHC haven't been about much recently either.

FairyFay · 06/02/2008 18:04

Hello everyone

Poor baby Fury, I hope they find out what's wrong, and poor baby Boo's head

Holly, I signed up for AQA but couldn't do it as we don't have Excel on the pooter. I'll check out that other site too. I'm wondering if it's worth getting Excel so that I can earn some extra cash. Do you happen to know how much you can realistically earn?

FairyFay · 06/02/2008 18:05

btw, Holly I have read the sites, I just wondered if you knew anyone who did it as I'm always a bit distrustful of those figures.
