Hiya puppy!
welcome to the big girls club, where we get no sleep.

I had Immi weighed this morning and she is now 10lb 12! only 9 weeks old and she was 6 14 when she was born. Shock

PuppyMummy · 10/06/2014 15:58

so far we r managing quite well with sleep. gettin about 7-8hrs albeit split into chunks!

he is just starting to get the hang of feeding although is mr fussy and is on,off,on,off while he gets into it! Smile

Tallyra · 11/06/2014 09:07

Yay! Well done puplet!
Have you any ideas for names yet?

PuppyMummy · 11/06/2014 11:37

yes he has a name but id rather not mention it on here!

yesterday he spent all afternoon feeding and got himself all in a tizz gettin too hot and too tired! hopefully will fair better today!

Tallyra · 14/06/2014 08:24

I'm sorry we're so quiet in here puppy. We do seem to be on fb a bit more than here. Don't worry though, I keep looking back here as I'm sure others do, so it might just take a bit of time for a response.

PuppyMummy · 15/06/2014 18:14

quiet on both threads! its hard to do anything with one hand whilst feeding!

think puplet is having a growth spurt he is feeding a lot over the last day or two!

did anyone hav an episiotomy? ill feel a lot better once my stitches heal properly. day 10 and still not healed.

I got the midwife to hav a look on fri and a bit had come open but she said it was healing anyway. they r really annoying!

Tallyra · 16/06/2014 17:29

I didn't I'm afraid, I had a c section though and the pain while moving was around for a good few weeks. Sounds sore Hmm

MotherOfCleo · 16/06/2014 18:11

I had a section too, if you are worried I'd say get doc to check it...just incase.

PuppyMummy · 18/06/2014 20:21

any tips on breast feeding in public? I'm wearing the layered vests so I can pull one up and one down but im not sure how to latch him on discreetly.

at home I get the boob out then get him on...

Tallyra · 18/06/2014 20:36

I tend to get the bra undone, then put baby in position and then bare the boob, although often the clothes stop it working very well. I've almost stopped caring now though.

Cavort · 18/06/2014 20:39

Hi Puppy and congratulations! When E was newborn I used to drape a muslin over my shoulder and attach it to my top with a crocodile clip while BFing in public. As she got a bit older and her head got bigger I stopped bothering about a cover as I found it just drew attention and I was less bothered and more confident about it.

Tallyra · 05/07/2014 22:00

Hmm. This thread seems to have died.

PuppyMummy · 24/07/2014 16:00

im still rattling around!

PuppyMummy · 30/07/2014 17:20

PuppyMummy · 11/08/2014 16:35

hellllooooooooooo?! Grin

BlindKitty · 12/08/2014 10:34

puppy you need to join the fb group!!!! That's where everyone is posting now. Just set up a pretend name if you don't really want to use your name ??

RaisinGirls · 12/08/2014 20:37

Didn't realise this group existed until it was just mentioned in our Facebook group, so thought I'd take a peek. Using a different user name now but I'm the one with baby B. x

RaisinGirls · 12/08/2014 20:42

And congrats puppy on your baby boy. I was one of the April berries x
