The entire world's movers and shakers, swindlers and fakers, public money piss-takers will be watching in trepidation at what Trump will do to them. The entire world's great and the good, high and the mighty, shifty and flighty will be supporting Hillary. Will you be with the people supporting Trump?

Have you got the ice cream, the chocolate, the biscuits and the matchsticks to keep the eyelids open ready?

As a warm-up, here is Sky News's 30 minute documentary shown last night

"Trump. Could it really happen?"

BBC bias as well?

BBC Radio 4 has just said an early poll by CNN of about 500 people suggests that Clinton won 62%.

No mention of the much larger online polls which are all in Trump's favour.

The world elite unite against Trump. But they will still lose Smile

claig "The reality is Hillary recoverd (sic) and did a lot better than many people expected, but the real reality is"

Can you explain the difference between the 'reality' and the 'real reality'?

claig · 27/09/2016 09:01

'real reality' is 3D reality, reality with bells on, the full monty, the whole nine yards, the whole enchilada as opposed to just mundane reality. The nearest thing to the 'real reality' is Donald Trump's concept of yuuge as opposed to just huge.

I'm currently watching. I'm finding it hard to focus on it as I loathe that man so much. I don't especially like Clinton either.

He said he was smart for not paying any federal taxes. How can anyone be ok with that? He is a loathsome despicable slimy leech full of bullshit and lies. What he is not full of is any sort of coherent policy.

The emails were brought up by Trump and replied to by Clinton so it's not true to say there was no discussion and there are two more debates to go.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/09/2016 09:05

Claig, I'm in a foul mood this morning, so if you don't mind I will politely ignore you so that I don't say anything that I later regret as being totally rude.

claig · 27/09/2016 09:12

'Claig, I'm in a foul mood this morning, so if you don't mind I will politely ignore you so that I don't say anything that I later regret as being totally rude.'

Don't worry. I am used to it. I don't take it personally.

'He said he was smart for not paying any federal taxes. How can anyone be ok with that?'

Savvy businessman, sharp operator. It's not politically correct but won't bother Trump fans in the slightest although the Democrats are already using it. It is part of Trump's style of doing things smart for America. Obviously, if it was a politician like Clinton who did it, Trump fans would see it in a completely different light.

'The emails were brought up by Trump and replied to by Clinton so it's not true to say there was no discussion and there are two more debates to go.'

Yes, Trump had to mention it, but Holt, the "impartial" moderator never mentioned it or Benghazi or the Clinton Foundation, but spent lots of time bringing up and interrupting Trump over birtherism and his persoanl tax returns. Those things are not of equal importance to the behaviour of someone who was Secretary of State.

''He said he was smart for not paying any federal taxes. How can anyone be ok with that?''

Trump is the Del Boy of politics. Everyone loves Del Boy and the Deplorables love Trump as do most people apart from the Establishmentarians.

So reality vs real reality = 3D reality vs mundane reality.

Blimey.

claig · 27/09/2016 09:29

Yep. "real reality" is yuuge as opposed to reality which is just huge.

Why doesn't he do something about that sniffing? He looks like a serious cocaine user, as pp said upthread.

Mind you, he also sounds like a serious cocaine user.

Luckily those Trump supporters who click multiple times in online polls only get one vote each in elections.

claig · 27/09/2016 09:35

That video explains the enormity of what is happening. It is we the people against the Establishment and it doesn't matter how many media tricks they use, they will never beat the people. There aren't enough spinners on the planet that they can hire to beat the people.

As November approaches, their panic will grow, the media will pull out all the stops and all the tricks, but the Deplorables will laugh in the face of adversity because we know they can't defeat the people.

Finished watching it. Won't get that time back.

claig · 27/09/2016 09:41

'And I think The Establismentarianits would be great.'

Yes, that is a great name for a band, but who would buy their records? They might as well have a picture of Tony Blair on stage. Why would any record executives put money behind something so unpopular?

Just reading the Guardian's view.

The trouble is, Kitten, that no matter how puke-making we find Trump and the whole thing, apparently half the US seem to love it.

claig's seemingly demented hyperbole (no offense, claig ) may be a scarily accurate reflection of almost half the American vote. If Clinton doesn't get her supporters out to queue at voting stations on election day, I dread to think what could happen.

LineyReborn · 27/09/2016 09:47

Voyage he could be the Man Who Accidentally Became President at this rate.

claig · 27/09/2016 09:50

'If Clinton doesn't get her supporters out to queue at voting stations on election day'

There is nothing she can do, just as the 172 couldn't beat Corbyn. She hasn't got enough supporters who like her enough to turn out, just as they didn't have enough to beat the Corbynistas and not enough people liked Cameron to stop Brexit.

"Black voters are turning from Clinton to Trump in new poll

Donald Trump is gaining support among African-American voters — whose enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton is eroding, a tracking poll released Saturday revealed.

Trump saw a 16.5 percentage-point increase in backing from African-American voters in a Los Angeles Times/University of Southern California tracking poll, up from 3.1 percent on Sept. 10 to 19.6 percent through Friday.

Meanwhile, the same poll showed Clinton’s support among that group plummeting from 90.4 percent on Sept. 10 to 71.4 percent.

Clinton’s nearly 20-point crash began Sunday, said Dan Schnur of USC

'The Donald is part of the Establishment'

No he is not. The entire worldwide Establishment is against him, even our one with our politicos all slagging him off and Boris Johnson saying he was "unfit" to be President etc. They all understand what is coming and they don't want Trump but there is absolutely nothing they can do to stop him but get on their knees and pray.

Fiderer · 27/09/2016 09:54

The 'reality' thing is like watching 'Stranger Things' on Netflix. With the parallel universe.

But more scary.

claig · 27/09/2016 10:09

'They all understand what is coming '

On second thoughts, maybe the politicos don't even understand what is happening, maybe they are all in a bubble and think the media will win, just as some of them appeared to think that they could beat Corbyn. Maybe they still don't get it.
