…it was entirely up to you? If things like money/overpopulation/others opinions were not influencing or restricting your decision?

  1. But I wound up with 4.

I wouldn't return any, but 2 would have been a lot easier.

Cuppasoupmonster · 05/11/2022 18:55

3, I think. I have one and pregnant with number 2, and we will stop there.

Bluedoritos · 05/11/2022 18:55

I think if money was no object I'd have 4. I love the idea of having my own little gang ☺️

Same as I have now. None.

IntentionalError · 05/11/2022 18:56

The number I already have : Zero.

Money / overpopulation/ environment/ other’s opinions are all completely irrelevant. I am childfree by choice.

ElephantHouse · 05/11/2022 18:56

I have two and that's the way it's saying as I've been sterilised now but I've always liked the idea of a biggish family so if money, mental health and my situation was different I'd have liked 4-5 although not sure I'd want to be pregnant that many times Grin

PinkPlantCase · 05/11/2022 18:57

4, we have 1 and plan to have another next year. Still in our 20s so you never know we might get to 4. Just depends if space/money/patience/health allows

RedRiverShore2 · 05/11/2022 18:59

One, which is what I had

PinkPlantCase · 05/11/2022 18:59

If I lived in an alternative universe maybe 70 years ago where I didn’t have a career than I enjoyed so much I’d be tempted by a very big number like 12. I used to love watching cheaper by the dozen 🤣 but in reality now that could never happen for us and I wouldn’t want it to

SpinningFloppa · 05/11/2022 19:02

I have 4 but I would have stuck with one.

FourTeaFallOut · 05/11/2022 19:02

Three. And we have three. I think it's a lovely family size that works well for us.

JuneWind · 05/11/2022 19:03

I have 2 and probably won’t have any more but I’d love 3. I just don’t think I could do another pregnancy and c-section plus recovery (would be c-sec as 2 x previous).

Mentally and emotionally I would, but physically I’m not sure I’d want to!

Mossstitch · 05/11/2022 19:06

4 at least, used to love The Waltons on TV growing up......... ended up with 3.

ladywithnomanors · 05/11/2022 19:07

If money was plentiful and my mental health was better I’d have had 4.
I’ve got 3.

wendywoopywoo222 · 05/11/2022 19:15

Still none.

Dacadactyl · 05/11/2022 19:18

I would have liked 6 I think.

It's a nice number and plentiful enough that theres always someone for them to pal about with et

Dacadactyl · 05/11/2022 19:19

I wiild say we could afford 4, but husband only keen on having 2.

Everydaywheniwakeup · 05/11/2022 19:20

Stick with my lovely one. I have a sibling and it added nothing positive to my life.

Scarecrowrowboat · 05/11/2022 19:20

Depends how easy the pregnancies were going to be but assuming I wasn't going to spend them heaving into a toilet again then probably 4 maybe 5.

romdowa · 05/11/2022 19:23

If I'd more money and better health I'd have loved 4 children but there's no way my body would carry four children .

Kitesk · 05/11/2022 19:23

I'm dream world I would of liked 3.

savehannah · 05/11/2022 19:26

If money was no object and I could stay at home without needing to work and have a cook/cleaner/chauffeur then I would probably have 5 or 6. If I didn't have work/chores to take up my time I could spend quality time with each child. I actually have 3 which I don't regret for a moment but it is a juggle with work and chores on top plus I guess we would be better off financially with only two.

glittereyelash · 05/11/2022 19:26

I'd stick with the one i have. It's perfect.

Parmesam · 05/11/2022 19:26
  1. But number 1 came with too many complications so no more.
sanityisamyth · 05/11/2022 19:29

I would have liked 2, but my H turned out to be a complete prick. I stopped at 1.
