…it was entirely up to you? If things like money/overpopulation/others opinions were not influencing or restricting your decision?

3 or 4.

Currently struggling to get a second 😪 in reality probably 2 or maybe 3 if we’re lucky

GiltEdges · 05/11/2022 19:30

None. I have one. Whilst I don’t regret him now he’s here, the decision to have him at all was based more on DH’s desire to have a child than mine.

Hugasauras · 05/11/2022 19:32
  1. Any more and we couldn't give them as much of us as we want to.

(And that's what we have)

RandomMess · 05/11/2022 19:32

I'd have carried on and probably ended up with near or actual double figures as we're incredibly fertile!

Stopped at 4 and was sterilised because had run out of contraceptive options.

Itisbetter · 05/11/2022 19:34

6 but we have 5 and won’t be having any more due to disability

strawberryice90 · 05/11/2022 19:34

3! I have 2 but always wanted three

Multipleexclamationmarks · 05/11/2022 19:35

I'm kind of fond of the three I've got but I think an ideal number is two. Not sure which one I'm returning yet, depends on the day and mine/their moods 😂

Duckseasonrabbitseason · 05/11/2022 19:41

3 or 4

CuteBabyFarts · 05/11/2022 19:41

I’d be pregnant or breastfeeding a baby until fertile again all the time if money and space were no object. I love being pregnant and my last birth lasted 40 mins so the worst bit was over quickly.

ThirdTimeIsTheCharm · 05/11/2022 19:44

Three, which is what I have because my mind and brain can't cope with more.

IntrovertedPenguin · 05/11/2022 19:45

Two. More than enough for me.

houseofboy · 05/11/2022 19:45

3 or 4 and still ever hopeful I will persuade husband to try for a third!!!

Gooseysgirl · 05/11/2022 19:46

I had two, I would have loved four! Age and finance scuppered that! But I am very happy and grateful for the two I have got 🥰

oohyoudevilyou · 05/11/2022 19:46

4
But only if I could lay eggs and pop them in an electric incubator until they hatched. I had 2 bad birth experiences and found pregnancy dreary and uncomfortable.

Changechangychange · 05/11/2022 19:46

Two, but only have one (infertility). I have a boy, and would have loved another boy 18-24 months younger. Girl would have been ok, but two boys would have been perfect.

Simonjt · 05/11/2022 19:51

I think we’d stick with two, I would worry about spreading ourselves too thin if we had more.

JennyForeigner · 05/11/2022 19:56

We have three and I would maybe have four - two sets of two buddies. Our twins are such a lovely little unit. I'd like that for our oldest, but maybe they'll relax into a trio as they get older and I'm pretty sure four would require us both at home with private incomes 😄

A580Hojas · 05/11/2022 19:59

Two. Just can't understand the desire for more - they are hard work and it doesn't get easier past the baby stage.

MarshaBradyo · 05/11/2022 20:02

Three which is what I have

Helpmeheal · 05/11/2022 20:04

3 (have 2)

Berlinlover · 05/11/2022 20:05

None.

happiertimes123 · 05/11/2022 20:06

Four - two with my eggs, two with DW's. But DW wants two so we are stopping there.

NewNameNov · 05/11/2022 20:07

Same as I have. 1.

PeekabooAtTheZoo · 05/11/2022 20:08

Six. But we are almost certainly stopping at two for reasons to do with pregnancy, birth, money, house size, sleepless nights, and amount of time we are able to spend with them.
