maybe i am shallow but my ambition is to be a yummy mummy!!

since day 1 i have showered and washed hair then blowed dried it and had make up on from day 1 too.

thankfully was back in jeans in 3 weeks though still trying to work out how to lose mummy tummy - am same weight as before pg but tummy looser.

wear jeans and high heels every day unless i am going for long walk then change to MBTs. always wear outfit i wouldnt be embarrassed inif someone calls to visit.

go to mother and baby group, baby swimming and baby massage. have lunch once a week with mummy friends and sometimes coffee on other days too.

finally drive an X5 though had that since before i got pg.

anyone beat that??

twat

Bluestocking · 12/01/2008 21:17

Onepiece, I am sure I am less yummy than you - I have a dented, malodorous V-reg Polo. I work for a living, only wash my hair twice a week, and never wear make-up.

IfYouCanKeepYourHead · 12/01/2008 21:17

Congratulations. Consider changing your maybe to an..."I know I am..."

The op is just shitstirring - surely?!

S1ur · 12/01/2008 21:18

LFC what are you checking under bra for??

Perhaps the tell tell absence of snot that determines yumminess? or the lack of playmobile people, pombear crisps and biscuit crumbs?

expatinscotland · 12/01/2008 21:20

you're talking out your arse, 'Annabella'.

nothing wrong with that.

next time, however, don't insult our collective intelligence and get a little more creative with your threads.

NEXT!

S1ur · 12/01/2008 21:20

OP is clearly very bored! hmm ragetty???

onepieceoflollipop · 12/01/2008 21:20

Bluestocking I am just making the "most" of my maternity leave before I go back to work. However after my post I bet certain people think that how I spend my time couldn't be described as making the most of it. However I am happy and so is dd2 so we don't worry...

Bet my car is more stinky than yours!

ragetty · 12/01/2008 21:20

not me i promise

i am bored though

as is she, clearly

fairylights · 12/01/2008 21:21

i don't think you are real annabella - you are someone namechanging for fun..surely?!!!

onepieceoflollipop · 12/01/2008 21:21

Did anyone check if this is the op's first post?

Anyone thinking what I am thinking?

Lauriefairycake · 12/01/2008 21:21

I will definitely win stinky car award - took it to be valeted last week and they charged me double cos it was so dirty.

and there was a fossilised dog turd under rear passenger seat

Lauriefairycake · 12/01/2008 21:22

I do so love introducing the words 'fossilised dog turd' on a yummy mummy thread

ArmadilloDaMan · 12/01/2008 21:23

my mum cleared out the inside of my car before christmas.

Apparently there were things growing in it

On the plus side the funny smell has nearly completely gone.

onepieceoflollipop · 12/01/2008 21:23

Lfc I moved into a house once and there was fossilised cat poo in the cupboard under the stairs. Think we have managed to lower the tone of this thread to the extent that the op is shuddering somewhere and won't come back!

Bluestocking · 12/01/2008 21:23

Onepiece, how about a "What's the nastiest thing you've ever found in your car?" thread? Mummytrollabella can nominate a sweaty chicken fillet that slipped out of her Agent Provocateur bra after a particularly stimulating session in Starbucks.

expatinscotland · 12/01/2008 21:24

i forced DH to hoover out his car this afternoon.

it was so disgraceful, i almost bought one of those rank air freshners you hang from the rearview mirror for it.

can i win the award for scummy mummy?

not only do i drive an old banger - an R reg Clio with well over 100,000 miles on it left here by our landlord because it's pretty worthless - but i did an hour long step aerobics DVD this afternoon and i still haven't bothered to shower.

Bluestocking · 12/01/2008 21:25

LFC, you win with your fossilised dog turd! How much does it cost to have a car valeted? I'm thinking I might have to pay to have it done, there's no way I can face vacuuming it out myself. I'm just too damn yummy.

onepieceoflollipop · 12/01/2008 21:25

Bluestocking

Anything I find is usually very boring - stale raisins for example.

Lauriefairycake · 12/01/2008 21:25

I am still sat in my pyjamas (after getting up at twelve)

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 12/01/2008 21:26

I was going to say me for a laugh but honestly!!!

I was thinking the OP must be asking in celeb-ville when I saw the title.

Where has she gone?

onepieceoflollipop · 12/01/2008 21:27

expat, perhaps we could start one of those threads (usually reserved for prams) when they all swap...we could do it with our cars...hun xxxx

yelnats · 12/01/2008 21:28

shes only posted 4 times! gotta be a wind up. sad

LynetteScavo · 12/01/2008 21:28

Er, whoopy-do Annabella... me too, except the X5, as I think they scream up-your-own-arse-can't-drive-or-park-properly.

It takes much more than this to be a yummy mummy, I've had nine years practice/ experience andam happy to advise.

expatinscotland · 12/01/2008 21:29

that's assuming my car would actually make it to the swapper's home, onepiece!
