GeraldineMumsnet · 29/05/2009 12:12

Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

Yes, they told me that both times they rang me - it will be with you in a day or two...

TBH I would say this counts as customer service experience and so makes part of our feedback.... therefore I am interested to see just how long this takes!

BONKERZ · 04/08/2009 13:02

not sure if this thread is still going but my joggler has stopped working! it stays on the OPENPEAK page ! has been like this for 4 days.
i rang customer support and have just spent 36 mins on phone to them (at a cost of nearly £3) and still they dont know whats up with it. the worst thing is that they are saying because i got it through the trial they are under no obligation to fix or replace it......surely this is not right......surely it should not matter how i got it and that i didnt pay for it....they have passed my info onto tech support to give me a call. Im not happy becasue DS uses it as his day planner (he has autism and its been really effective as a planner for him!)

KingCanuteIAm · 13/08/2009 17:55

Still no power supply here - has everyone else got theirs yet?

StinkyFart · 13/08/2009 17:58

nope, nothing

My joggler is now gathering dust in the cupboard

JogglerGirl · 14/08/2009 15:47

@ Bonkerz.....sincere apologies for the poor service from O2 thus far. IF ok with you, can i get your contact details from MNHQ so that i can resolve this for you? thanks

MrsWeasley · 17/08/2009 11:46

Mine is still working fine, I had a message sometime ago saying they were sending me out a new joggler within a few days but it was over a month ago BUT mine is working fine and not gving me any shocks. (except when DD adds her events and I realise we are double or triple booked)

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff · 17/08/2009 12:45

Jogglergirl, is there any news about when we are going to get our power supplies? TBH it is getting silly now!

AnnMumsnet · 18/08/2009 18:39

to those with problems - we have alerted O2/our client for this project and they are looking into it for you. Sorry for the delay. We will let you know anything when we know it and they will post on this thread.

BecauseImWorthIt · 23/08/2009 23:05

Have just got back from holiday. One of the messages on the answerphone was from 02 asking if we'd received the new power cable/plug. Unfortunately I deleted all the messages before taking down her number

So can I just say on here, that yes, I have received the new one, but I haven't replaced or returned the old one yet.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 23/08/2009 23:11

I had a phone call from O2 on Friday to say that new power supply would be sent out pronto

BecauseImWorthIt · 23/08/2009 23:14

... but things not looking good in the BIWI household for the Joggler. Paper-based system is still more direct/immediate and more readily accepted/used by the family.

I think that we're actually quite an organised family and - at least on the domestic front - manage quite well with a simple system.

If, though, I could synchronise my Microsoft Outlook work calendar with the Joggler then I might change my mind.

bonkerz · 26/08/2009 17:26

lol i got a new power supply today.......already had one sent before......but i aint got no joggler! LOL but thanks to charlie from O2 who has said she will sort out this whole mess! cant beleieve ive been trying to sort this out since July!
i desparately want my joggler back! especially cos im starting work in 2 weeks! LOL

AnnMumsnet · 02/09/2009 18:35

Can anyone who is still awaiting a new power supply or a phone call please email me and I will forward your email onto to O2 and they will help you directly?
Thanks! - Bonkers I believe your issues are being dealt with?

AnnMumsnet · 02/09/2009 18:36

sorry, email add: [email protected]

bonkerz · 05/09/2009 15:27

well, i recieved a bar of green and blacks today and a little note from O2 apologising about mix up with power supplys! LOL i never had a prob with my power supply and dont really like G&B but appreciate the thought and that O2 do really read MN! LMAO

MrsWeasley · 06/09/2009 13:01

I have to say I still love my Joggler and use it daily as a family calendar. It has replaced our old system and we all use it, even DH who cant see the screen without his reading glasses so he gets us to read it out to him! LOL

There are a few things that would be useful and these have been covered in earlier posts. It is true I dont use every function on it. I dont use the travel but then again I dont drive. I dont use the messages very much becuase I mostly use my mobile.

I never had a power supply problem that I was aware of but happy with the new one.

O2: Thank you for the chocolate bar it will be put to good use tonight after the children are in bed!

Cornflakemum · 06/09/2009 13:22

I received my new power supply - seems all OK , thanks.

However the accompanying letter made me laugh... it was along the lines of:

"Here is your new power supply. You will know it is your new power supply as it has a big O2 sticker on it.

Take your new power cable (that's the one with the big O2 sticker on it) and replace your existing cable

Put the old cable (that's NOT the one with the big O2 sticker on it) in the return envelope...

etc etc

But did the new cable have anything on it which could possibly be construed as an 'O2 sticker' ?

Nope. Nothing. Nada.

It's really NOT going well this product test, is it??

bramblebooks · 06/09/2009 14:31

I can't actually get the return envelope through the slot on a post box. It did provide an amusing few minutes for spectators. I'm not making a special trip to the post office, so it'll have to wait.

I'm loving the chocolate and it has inspired me to enter new stuff onto joggler. Maybe they could remind us like this more regularly!

However, the repeat options are pants. There is still nothing customisable for repeat options. I need a 3 day repeat for routine medical needs procedures for ds. I also need to be able to shift a planned activity should his medical needs dictate it rather than cancelling and starting again. I'm programming ahead a week at a time due to this, which is time inefficient.

Outlook still holds it greatly over joggler,as does my apple iphone diary with mobile me backup. sorry.

KingCnutBoredOfDMButWontLetGo · 07/09/2009 14:27

Hi O2, I have received my new power supply and my chocolate

THe chocolate is going along very nicely indeed and is much appreciated, however the power supply keeps tripping the RCD switch in my house and turning off all the electric - could someone contact me to sort this out or could a very clever MNer let me have a number to call to get this sorted out?

NoahFence · 07/09/2009 14:29

god i dont kwno why i got chocolate
everything working fine

bramblebooks · 07/09/2009 22:04

my chocolate is faulty and has disappeared. Please could I have a crate to replace it with?

BoysAreLikeDogs · 07/09/2009 22:07

yy I got choc too

had it for my breakfsast on Saturday

om nom nom

VulpusinaWilfsuit · 07/09/2009 22:15

I got chocolate too. Rather embarrassed actually since they rang me a million times to apologise, check new power supply blah blah blah. Was very grateful if sheepish when they said they were sending a little something. And actually I got my new adapter weeks ago when the problem was first identified...

Unfortunately I still share my previous reservations and those of others that it isn't quite good enough to replace the paper calendar yet. DH is furiously synching and fiddling with Google calendars, Thunderbird and Lightning (no idea: ask him) to solve our needs instead. And I am about to replace my paper calendar and continue with my ancient Palm.

So. Not yet convinced but will keep going as am looking forward to the radio .

MrsWeasley · 07/09/2009 22:57

Oh no my choc has the same fault as bramblebooks

Choc was delicious, unfortunately I couldnt wait until DC were in bed so I had to share it. Thank you

VulpusinaWilfsuit · 07/09/2009 23:07

Is it wrong to have been disappointed that the long firm block inside my package wasn't an iPhone then?
