Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

Have just had to call about three numbers to sort this out. Turned Joggler on and off several times and the final time it re-found my calendar info. Website is still down though and the tech people were useless and just said "I didn't realise it was down until you told me, I don't have any updates on that at the moment" he didn't even bother with a reassuring, "we are working on it as quickly as posible, I am sorry for the inconvenience". COME ON, o2, this is not good enough. Your website has been down intermittently for nearly 24 hrs, I have been unable to access my calendar online, and although I now have it on the Joggler I wanted to input a lot of stuff and that is easier to do online. Plus the blank Joggler has probably aged me about 5 yrs this morning. I get the impression you have launched this device too soon - your staff are unable to handle queries about it and your website (when it's available) has almost no informatione either. It has the potential to be a truly excellent thing, but these glitches need to be sorted out. A backup website for calendar users on a different server? An automatic message to calendar users if the website goes offline? Communicate with people and they will understand and accept - a blank silence just pisses your customers off.

fruitshootsandheaves · 02/07/2009 13:45

what you enter on the joggler does appear online.
I have it bookmarked on my computer so it takes me straight to the claendar login page, but then I usually can't remember my username or password.

MoM - yes, the unplugging did work eventually at third, tearful try! I just think they need better training for their staff so that when someone calls with a Joggler issue, they don't just shrug their shoulders down the phone. Anyway, technology is back working again, although I noticed the o2 site had disappeared again yesterday evening. Wonder what is going on? Is it my server or theirs? If it was my server then surely I wouldn't be able to access any sites?

BoysAreLikeDawgs · 07/07/2009 10:38

Any one else had shocks from their Jogglers?

BONKERZ · 07/07/2009 10:42

why do we have to switch them off? i havent had a shock off mine!

MerlinsBeard · 07/07/2009 10:43

mine was staticy - not a shock as such- i can't turn it off until i have transferred all the stuff BACK to paper

How did you get a call? I am hoping that as they have all of our addresses they should just send us one!!! That is MORE bad feedback...do they not know the power of MN?!

MerlinsBeard · 07/07/2009 10:44

and its probably to do with the fact that the bit you plug in the socket doesn't properly attach to the bit that attaches to it

MerlinsBeard · 07/07/2009 10:45

seems there is an overheating issue too which has been pointed out on this thread.

O2 if you are still reading this .. i do not want to ring you, you have my address, i want a new powersupply (poss joggler too as mine gets V hot)

MerlinsBeard · 07/07/2009 10:53

I just sent a very stroppy email to O2, i think my mobile phone service is about to mysteriously self destruct!

BONKERZ · 07/07/2009 10:56

i agree MOM if O2 know there is an issue surely they have my contact details they should contact me, i have looked at the links and it seems some people are getting new jogglers, some new plugs.......mine is ok really, it has frozen a few times in the last week but it soon sorts itself out when i unplug it and plug it in.

MNHQ.....is there any chance you can get O2 to clarify on here what is going on please?

BoysAreLikeDawgs · 07/07/2009 11:06

I suggested switching off as there appears to be some sort of problem; of course you don't have to

[electricians's daughter emoticon]

BONKERZ · 07/07/2009 11:09

i havent found any probelm with the plug at all, it fits quite securely and i certainly havent had a shock from it BUT i would like O2 or MNHQ to clarify please.

LupusinaLlamasuit · 07/07/2009 13:22

Perhaps they figure since we got ours for free, there is no obligation to replace them?

LupusinaLlamasuit · 07/07/2009 13:23

And rofl at

LupusinaLlamasuit · 07/07/2009 13:25

Or this?

AnnMumsnet · 07/07/2009 15:14

And here?s the official statement from O2:

"We are aware of an issue affecting a small number of power supply units for the O2 Joggler which may cause a slight electric shock. Whilst this presents no health and safety risk we take this matter very seriously and have stopped selling O2 Jogglers while we ensure all affected power supply units are removed from circulation. We know which power supply units are affected and will be contacting our customers to replace the units as quickly as possible.

Customers can get more information from shop.o2.co.uk/update/o2joggler.html or call us on freephone 0800 083 7373"
