FEEDBACK THREAD for Joggler testers

GeraldineMumsnet · 29/05/2009 12:12

Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

Hi Mumsnetters and MN Trialists,

As you?ve seen from Ann?s post we?ve discovered an issue with a small number of O2 Joggler power supply units and are currently arranging to have these replaced.

We are currently in the process of calling all O2 Joggler customers to arrange for a replacement power supply unit to be sent to them. All O2 Joggler trialists will have been contacted within the next 24 hours.

There is nothing to worry about, the issue isn?t dangerous, and doesn?t pose a risk to you or your family. You?re safe to continue to use your current power supply unit but if you?re at all worried, we?d advise you to turn off your O2 Joggler at the wall socket and wait until your replacement power supply unit arrives.

You can get more information at shop.o2.co.uk/update/o2joggler.html or by calling freephone 0800 083 7373

Thank you for updates Ann and O2

lupus I have ROFLd at your linkies

MerlinsBeard · 07/07/2009 19:48

i have that plug (and feel justified in all my moaning about it now!) have filled in the online form.

again, so glad i hadn't paid for this-would have ebayed it by now i think.

whoops · 07/07/2009 20:44

I had a message left on my answerphone saying that they were sending me a new plug!
This thread had fallen off my threads I'm on so didn't even realise there was a problem

BoysAreLikeDawgs · 07/07/2009 20:54

I had the phone call, new power supply on the way, I am to return the current one (did ya see what I did there, did ya, did ya?) in an envelope supplied by O2

SoupDragon · 07/07/2009 20:56

Was it a withheld number? I ignored an anonymous phone call earlier this evening!

BoysAreLikeDawgs · 07/07/2009 21:32

Yes, number withheld Soupy, was about 7pm-ish

SoupDragon · 07/07/2009 21:49

Ta. Mine was about 6:45.

I never answer withheld numbers.

SoupDragon · 08/07/2009 11:38

My new power supply arrived this morning at 11am! It's even uglier than the old one

Of course, my Joggler still doesn't work...

LupusinaLlamasuit · 08/07/2009 12:25

Now. O2. Leaving aside the electricity issues (no phone call at my house btw, does that mean my power supply is OK?)

I notice in the press you will have the rights to the Palm Pre when it goes onsale in the UK?

I am VERY interested in that. And so if you can get the Joggler/calendar to interact with it properly, synching with Palm OS on the handset, you will have me for life.

And, um, if you need a tester to see how it all works together in a busy working family, I'm your woman. And DH would like to point out that he is your man too.

We can wait...

KingCanuteIAm · 08/07/2009 15:35

I got my call today at lunchtime today re the powersupply, it was a withheld number but I had read about that here so I answered it (I wouldn't normally answer them either!)

Simples · 08/07/2009 15:49

You never answer withheld numbers?
Sheesh most of my mates seem to haev them

ponces

and brothers office
and court who ring de temps en temps

and my work

KingCanuteIAm · 08/07/2009 15:57

The only withheld I answer is from work and I always know when it is them - I have only been caught out once so far in 5 years

I hate not knowing who is calling and usually screen calls at home. I do have a withheld number myself though as I hate people having my number.... I know I am weird and stuff but I don't care

SoupDragon · 08/07/2009 16:31

Only my parents have a withheld number and they don't phone my mobile.

BONKERZ · 08/07/2009 18:08

my power supply has just arrived, must say i am impressed with the speed of delivery!

atO2 · 08/07/2009 22:29

at O2: Hello Wilbur, sorry to hear that you had problems accessing your O2 Calendar last week, and that the response from the Customer Service representative was disappointing. If you want, I can get an engineer to run a check on your account to make sure that it is fully working. Please post your o2.co.uk username and your O2 Calendar name if you want me to arrange this.

LupusinaLlamasuit · 08/07/2009 22:31

Mr/Ms @O2...

Palm Pre and O2 Calendar/Joggler interaction?

SoupDragon · 09/07/2009 10:13

So, is it worth the hassle of trying to get mine connected or not?

I'm connecting via an ethernet cable and ethernet hub and the help stuff is utterly useless. So far I've not seen any reason to go through the hassle of contacting customer services.

BecauseImWorthIt · 09/07/2009 10:17

I have had 2 separate calls from 02 about replacing the power supply! One was a call I took, the second was the next day and was a message left on my answering machine - so sounds like I'm being sent 2. So if anyone doesn't get theirs ...

wilbur · 09/07/2009 12:53

atO2 - thanks, yes, please run a check on my account - it all seems to be fine now, but I did panic a lot at the blank joggler. Can I email you my account details rather than post them here?

I got a call re the "base unit" as they called it, assume they meant the plug. No problems with mine, but happy to swap plugs if need be.

Also, o2, any idea when the improvements to the calendar might be up and running - end times, being able to alter single events in a multi event list, better highlighting abilities, start and end times for multi day events etc? Getting into summer hols and loads of playdates, sleepovers, random childcare, shipping kids to Granny etc, and it would help to have more flexibility in recording events.

And Lupus - what is the Palm Pre - is it a phone? Does it operate from a different calendar system? I defer to you and your dh as the founts of all tech widom.
