Scottish Christmas meet-up

There has always been a good night in Edinburgh at Christmas but so far, there doesn't seem to be the impetus for one.

Nailpolish started a thread here but it has limped on without getting to a critical mass.

I thought I'd start a new thread with Christmas in the title to see if that would generate a bit more interest! As someone said on the other thread, we are getting a bit close to Christmas, so we should get a move on if we are going to organise something!

Anyone?

Caveat - I am mega busy during December so might have a date clash but in theory all good.

I think we did start off a bit earlier last year too, to allow for all the weegies (or was it just that we came across earleir for more of a piss-up? )

Really need to rely on the advice of the Edinburgh folk as to venue.

Does anyone want to suggest what dates they are not availalbe and we could take it from there?

(Weegiemum: provided it is not rained off again, we'll be there on Sunday. The family meeting may go ahead anyway, as subs are due! I've finally made our own dentist appointments - ds is going to get a gum shield made too)

I would drive down but the roads even getting to Perth are monsterous.
