yes they do but not all the stock is available for that have a look at site, also think it depends where you are in the country and which is the nearest store

ComeOVeneer · 26/06/2007 16:42

I thought the CD cabinet was discontinued as I couldn't find it on the website (although it is in the 2007 catolugue), but the website said the 2 others are in stock (and still do when I just checked)

I tried to buy online but it keeps telling me an error has occured half way though the process.

sfxmum · 26/06/2007 17:09

that's helpful! i need to get a few things but dread the thought of going up there child or no child was considering online shop

SushiMummy · 26/06/2007 17:23

SFX, been to see Gillian Welch a few times and we had a fab time. That was before DS was born. Waterman's by the river used to have live music and kids loved dancing there.

Paddlechick666 · 26/06/2007 17:34

hello all, been very busy and stressed here.

i'm planning on taking dd to Glasto next year so thumb my nose at all those who says it's not "the done thing"!

anyone wanna come too and we can alternate evenings at the headline stage?

took 2 hours to drive 17 miles this arvo - blardy unbelievable.

had a good interview with the IFA @ Metro Housing - can't get as much as I'd really like but it should be sufficient to buy something round here at least.

Glad NY was fab Ros - lucky you.

Hi 2cute, hope all's well?

Hello everyone else

ps: can't join in on the sushi convos as I hate wasabi and have no ability to make it myself. used to enjoy it for lunch when I lived in Sydney tho. haven't had any since I returned, don't know why but am a bit suspicious of London sushi LOL!

foxcub · 26/06/2007 17:35

Oh dear CoV - Ikea is very draining at the best of times

Hi everyone

Rosmerta (new names confuse me) - yes!! we were just talking about that last night. Can't do this Sat as we have a .........kids free night

will have too much alcohol, too much food, (possibly) sex, and definate lie in.

bliss.........................

(btw, need to pick yr brains on NY as we are probably going for my 40th at the end of the year)

Paddlechick666 · 26/06/2007 18:07

would someone please kill me..........

Paddlechick666 · 26/06/2007 18:08

stepfordwife · 26/06/2007 18:08

Paddlechick666 · 26/06/2007 18:08

thanks in advance.........

stepfordwife · 26/06/2007 18:09

paddle will a tranquillser gun suffice? i am a pacifist..

rosmerta · 26/06/2007 18:09

Well, I definitely wouldn't want to ruin your kid free time

I can lend you my NY guide book & map if you like. & I can warn you about the endless bag checks & security whatnot!

rosmerta · 26/06/2007 18:10

What's happened paddle? Don't believe in killing people but can offer wine if that helps?

xoxo · 26/06/2007 18:16

PC: here's waht to do

  1. have glass of wine
  2. put baby to bed: forget bath, even teeth brushing can be excused one night in a month (low standrads here): just flop on sofa
  3. have more wine
  4. have even more wine
  5. you guessed it...

take deep breath... and relaese.. let us know what's happening....

Steppy: no bragging - only possible. And if it's a choice between sleeep and sex then I don't fancy DH's chances...

Rosmerta: thanks for yr understanding. More interetsed in finding fab restaurants where tenders steaks are teh size of my head, beer jugs teh size of a car and where clothes are fab and cost next to nothing..... how's that?

sfxmum · 26/06/2007 18:17

what happened paddle? is your mum around again? or is it H being and arse?

sushi - she is quite amazing i think beautiful voice saw her at the SouthBank which by the way do good free music through out the summer, had forgotten about Watermans

Paddlechick666 · 26/06/2007 18:30

ahhh, am just seriously stressed with too much to do and a demanding toddler .

well to be fair, she's being very good under the circumstances but it's driving me nuts - i can't seem to get anything at all done without constant yammering, squealing, using me for a climbing frame, getting into stuff she shouldn't etc etc

i really should devote some time to her - it is my day off after all but i just have too much to do.

i'm just not doing anything particularly well and to be honest i'd be quite happy not to get up in the morning!!!!

rosmerta · 26/06/2007 18:32

Paddle, if you want a break at all, even just for an hour or two, then drop dd off at mine. I'm sure ds would love to have a playdate with her!

stepfordwife · 26/06/2007 19:15

oh paddle, i do feel for you. the other day i had dd with me and was ignoring her while i worked. by ignoring, i mean letting her trash the place as it distracted her while i was on the computer..

half-an-hour later..she'd found a bag of christmas decorations in the cupboard, dragged it out and had peeled all the gilt off all the baubles, including some particularly (once) cool mini glitter disco balls and shredded tinsel everwhere. took me about 3 days to summon the will to clear it up!
and you feel so guilty when you get all snappy and resentful with tem becuase YOU CAN'T GET ON WITH YOUR WORK.

trouble is, at the mo, you've got no adult "back-up" to walk through that door of an evening and take over, eh? and that's so bloody hard (no need to tell you that, though) after your dd has flirted with ros' ds, if you ever need a breather she can always come over here, too, and play "twins" with my dd!

so, yes, BIG glass of vino, m'dear x

stepfordwife · 26/06/2007 19:16

and ros, glad you had a FAB time in Noo York
