Morning all.

Sorry if you're chomping at the bit to announce your loss this morning!

Here's the spreadsheet

Some great losses already posted, so well done.

But don't despair if you haven't lost as much as others. Remember, this isn't a competition. We're all here with different startpoints, and everyone loses at a different rate anyway.

Hi ! I'd really like to join too. I started in June at 83kg and am down to 72.6kg. I'd love some company and I'm finding it difficult to keep up my motivation, so I'm hoping joining here will help me. I hope that's ok.

I actually wrote that on the previous thread and I've understood that everyone's moved here now so I'm re-copying here.

WitchWand · 19/10/2020 09:19

Also, I tried to add myself to the spreadsheet. I didn't manage it. It's telling me that it's protected. Do I need official approval ? If not, can anyone explain what I need to do to add myself and my weight ?
Thankyou

Doilooklikeatourist · 19/10/2020 09:21

No weight loss here ( but it might be that the weighing scales aren't in the plum place .. we've been painting the study which has a nice slate floor and that's where we keep the scales )
However NSV 😷👍I've lost 2 inches round my waist and the belt does actually meet in the middle
Week 1 in the dress
Week 2 vest top

@potas I'm not veggie but have tried lots of recipes in the veggie recipe thread over the last few weeks. Aubergine parmigiana & cauliflower cheese were delicious. I also make fajitas with a quorn chili (eaten in small quantities with no kidney beans) halloumi, sour cream & guacamole in lettuce wraps. It's a bit dairy heavy but I seem to have got away with it!

5lb off this morning which is a total Brucey bonus as I'm technically in week 3, having started early. It just goes to show that properly sticking to the rules and drinking ALL the water does make a difference. Thanks to BIWI, Athelstan & StuntNun for all their hard work. Bootcamp really does give me the accountability I need to commit to this properly. And thanks to all the lovely posters who make this such a supportive community and for all the recipe ideas and tales of inspiration (sheepysheeps tale from last week still ringing in my ears!)

PastramiNoRye · 19/10/2020 09:25

5lb off, which I'm very chuffed with. All in the right direction!

Don't worry! The very lovely @AthelstaneTheUnready will add you - what weight?

@potas

If you're vegetarian, you can have nuts in the first two weeks of Bootcamp.

@paddlingalong we could have written each others posts ha What's your goal?

BIWI · 19/10/2020 09:29

Here is the vegetarian recipe thread

I keep pointing people in the direction of the recipe threads, but I'm not really sure anyone is taking a blind bit of notice of me!

Honestly, it's a fantastic resource and there are some really lovely recipes in the threads - which are now sorted by meat type, or veggie/sweet things.

They're all stickied at the top of the Bootcamp topic to make them easy to find. (Actually as there's a limit to the number of topics that can be stickied per page, sometimes you find one or two of them at the top of page 2)

I often look at the recipe threads for inspiration - and try to add to them when I come across or invent a good HFLC dish Halo

WitchWand · 19/10/2020 09:33

I think I've understood it better now. If it's ok that I join, would it be ok for @AthelstaneTheUnready to add me to the list please ? Thanks

PaddlingAlong · 19/10/2020 09:34

@Oneborneverydecade

I was thinking exactly the same when I read yours! I am aiming for 12 stone by the end of this bootcamp. Would like a little more but trying to be realistic. Overall I'm starting to see a difference with my clothes so every pound counts. Anyhow let's keep each other motivated!

GorgeousGoldies · 19/10/2020 09:35

Morning! I’m reporting a 3lb loss from Saturday morning (my second week) which I was thrilled with. Unfortunately I’ve been in Cornwall since then (well not unfortunately, it’s lovely!) and haven’t been 100% on track...nowhere near really. Still, every day is a new opportunity to reset.

Congratulations to everyone on their fantastic losses, and don’t panic if yours isn’t what you’d hoped for - it will come!

MaudesMum · 19/10/2020 09:45

Congratulations to everyone who's done so well! Me, less so, but I did have a blip on Saturday, due to a day by the seaside. Got back on the sensible eating horse on Sunday, though, and have mapped out most of my meals for the week.

WitchWand · 19/10/2020 09:49

Thanks for your answer @BIWI. My starting weight in June was 182,6lbs. My current weight is 159,7lbs. Thanks a lot.Smile

AthelstaneTheUnready · 19/10/2020 09:50

You're on, @WitchWand!

Does the person who's added their weight at the very bottom want to identify themselves and I'll add their name too? Grin

We've just had a slight hitch with the sheet, but @BIWI will repost the link in a moment.

VeryLittleOwl · 19/10/2020 09:51

5lbs off here, very happy with that!

There is a bit less stomach on display in the shorts :)

200g ON for me. I know why so will draw a line under it, and don't want to distract from others' inspiring losses! Well done, everyone!! I've been doing this woe since the summer and lost 10kg so I know it works and I'm feeling energised by all the amazing losses this week and hope to join you next.

Ah ok thanks. Rookie error.

Redsparklybucket · 19/10/2020 10:02

Morning, I've been lurking on the threads all last week and have followed the plan and i have lost 9lbs this week - am in shock! However i have a lot of weight to loose, and am at a big number to start. I will keep going and continue to semi lurk and update!

Rayna37 · 19/10/2020 10:07

Four and a bit pounds off which must be my best first week ever. However the reasons are clear: I'd been eating quite off piste beforehand; I stuck to all the rules (never a given with me especially when close to goal!), exceeded my water goal most days, had minimal snacks and never anything after dinner in the evening. I also had four 16 hour plus fasts, swam for half an hour four times and did three yoga sessions Halo

I've been solidly under 9 stone every day since Thursday so really pleased with that. Motivation good, so onwards and downwards! I have a nice week of food planned out. 5ish lbs to go but that will likely take the rest of this bootcamp; fingers crossed I maintain this momentum!

Great work everyone!

Notwatchingtvtoday · 19/10/2020 10:23

Morning all, I’ve lost 3lbs, was 4lbs on Friday, but seems to have gone up, I always record the Monday weight, as I do find that my weight fluctuates.

So pleased to see others loosing, but to anyone who has stayed the same or only lost a bit, don’t give up, sometimes it just takes a little longer for your body to adjust.

My plan for today
B Greek yogurt with Tsp cream
L Celaric soup with sprinkle of grated cheese
D to be decided ....

3L water

Thing101 · 19/10/2020 10:29

Good morning, well done all, it must be all those fabulous meals you are making. I made burrito bowls for the family yesterday and substituted the rice with sprouts - my children think I have lost my mind Grin but I'm weighing at 183.4 if someone could please add - the link says the spreadsheet has been deleted - swear down it wasn't me!

Thanks for the inspiration all, it's great to have somewhere to check in, and I promise to get more creative in the kitchen!

Jdhshekr · 19/10/2020 10:36

I’m about 3lbs down this week which is brilliant as I’ve been low carbing for nearly three months now so knew I wouldn’t get the big first week water loss. Next time I weigh myself at the gym I want to see the number 10 instead of 11 at the start of my weight - only 1lb needed to go for that to happen and I only weigh myself there every 7-10 days so should be do-able.

Well done everyone! My lessons from this week are to keep up with drinking loads of water and eating lots of veg as they are the bootcamp bits I added to my WOE this week and they seem to be helping things along.
