Morning all.

Sorry if you're chomping at the bit to announce your loss this morning!

Here's the spreadsheet

Some great losses already posted, so well done.

But don't despair if you haven't lost as much as others. Remember, this isn't a competition. We're all here with different startpoints, and everyone loses at a different rate anyway.

So many people have such fantastic losses!! Well done everyone!!

Today I forgot to eat breakfast (I often skip it because I don't have time, never forgotten it before though!)
Lunch was covent garden mushroom soup with added soft cheese that made it really creamy and cheesy.

Dh has come home with samples from a new client who does Indian ready meals/delivery. So he's got a proper feast tonight with 3 different curries, rice and naan. I've nabbed the one that looks least carby, so it's meatball kofta, and I'll serve it with FLGV.

What do people get from a takeaway? I've avoided them so far (dh and dd had pizza last Monday which was a definite no!) But at some point I'll want to have one and need to be prepared for what is the best from each cuisine. Any thoughts?

Redsparklybucket · 19/10/2020 17:56

Could someone add me to the spreadsheet please starting at 315lbs last week and I weighed in at 306lbs this morning - a long was to go!

CrepuscularCritter · 19/10/2020 18:02

Checking in today for the first time. I won't worry about adding myself to the spreadsheet but I am fully committed to this. I'm doing 16:8, which seems to work fine for me. Today was spinach and nutmeg soup for lunch with cream and some bacon. Tonight I have some leftover turkey mince stir fry with spring cabbage, celery, half a small red pepper, bok choi, mushrooms, soy and sesame oil. To get the fat content up, I'm thinking maybe a cheese and olive starter. Thanks for all the great recipe resources and inspiration.

StuntNun · 19/10/2020 18:11

@MsAwesomeDragon for a Indian I get lamb tikka which is dry and a vegetable (cauliflower, okra or aubergine) bhaji as a side dish. For Chinese, black bean sauce is usually the lowest carb option. My local does ribs without the sauce for a starter. McDs I go for a bunless double cheeseburger (if you order through the screens you can customise it yourself) and a side salad. I used to take my own salad dressing with me because theirs is low fat but now I just have it plain as I don't eat there very often now my kids are older. For Pizza Hut I order the red hot chicken wings and make my own side salad to go with it. Subway are great for salads and I usually have a steak and cheese salad. Again the dressings are a bit pish so you're better to use your own if you can, otherwise Chipotle is the least bad.

BIWI
It's done - it's in pounds rather than kg though, as we use pounds for the spreadsheet (there's a conversion button on one of the tabs, FYI)

I wish I knew that this morning 🤣🤣

CrazyDuchess · 19/10/2020 18:28

Thank you!!!

TeddyIsaHe · 19/10/2020 18:55

Thank you @StuntNun & @prettybird! BC is not only great for losing weight, but excellent bra advice also!

Pork belly and creamed cabbage for dinner tonight. Dd was in an utterly foul mood after nursery, so I’d usually have a glass of wine (and try not to scream!) but am enjoying the not using booze to relax. So a bubble bath after dinner it is.

MsAwesomeDragon · 19/10/2020 19:07

Thanks stuntnun. We're trying to cut down on our takeaway consumption as it got a bit ridiculous over lockdown/summer. But I do want to be able to enjoy one every so often. I'll try those options. We tend to have either Chinese or pizza as dd is fussy and won't eat Indian. And I avoid McDonald's as much as possible anyway!!

mrshoho · 19/10/2020 19:27

Thanks for week 2 and well done everyone for the first week. I can't seem to access the spreadsheet anymore from my phone. It says I need to connect to the internet which I already am Confused. Would someone mind updating my weighin for this week if they have time 132.8. Thanks and I'll work on my IT issues!

StuntNun · 19/10/2020 19:36

@mrshoho there's a new link to the spreadsheet

mrshoho · 19/10/2020 19:38

ah brill Stuntnun that's working fine. Thank you!

BIWI · 19/10/2020 19:39

Thanks BIWI much appreciated.

ZiggZagg · 19/10/2020 19:56

Just had two squares of Lindt 85% Dark Chocolate and I feel so guilty Shock

It was either that or DD's double choc muffin in the fridge.

52andblue · 19/10/2020 20:22

85% probs better than the muffin...

Onwards and upwards x

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 19/10/2020 20:25

Ok this isn’t pretty but I’ve had one of those NSVs... tried some trousers on before the last bootcamp that I knew weren’t going to go anywhere near my arse but braved it AND recorded for posterity. Tried them on again today and they’re almost loose!!
And my son, who’s been away, said I’d lost ‘a considerable amount of weight’ in a surprised voice Grin

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 19/10/2020 20:29

Feel so much better too.

@ifeelmuchlessfat was that from doing one bootcamp?
Ifeelmuchlessfat · 19/10/2020 20:38

itsmeagainagain as BIWI says, follow the rules and you’ll get there,it really works and it’s so manageable as a long term woe.

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 19/10/2020 20:53

itsmeagainagain yes, started in May. Two stone and pretty much all off my stomach and hips.
At least another one to go, two would be great but it’s v slow now but still coming off.

VeryLittleOwl · 19/10/2020 21:21

Ifeelmuchlessfat Wow, fantastic comparison picture! Really motivating, thank you for sharing :)

itsmeagainagain · 19/10/2020 21:24

@ifeelmuchlessfat that's so inspiring thanks again for sharing. I've had my first wobble today although resisted but seeing your pic and that amazing achievement that has really made me focus again x

VeryLittleOwl · 19/10/2020 21:34

Crikey, I just tried the BOB bra measuring calculator someone recommended upthread. I am currently wearing a 36A which is a bit gappy in the cups and according to the old-fashioned measuring system should be a 36AA, but the big Tesco (only bra shop within 100 miles) doesn't sell them. Normally wear a 34A at my happy weight, but they're all a bit tight on me at the moment. BOB reckons I should be in a 32G!! I am somewhat sceptical...I'll redo it when I'm at my target weight and see what it thinks then.
