pc whereabouts do you live?

wrt the phones, i always assume it is one of the dd's being called

mechanic calls me a lot, its like the lily allen song, except he isnt shit in bed

aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/03/2010 11:41

passmyglassplease · 24/03/2010 13:03

just marking my place ladies

pmg waves to asbm and lou

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 24/03/2010 13:17

lou -

i'm sure we have all had one bloke that the lily allen songs reminds us of

just about to attack my ironing mountain pile.

got photo's done yesterday for dc at school. boy... what a rip off. bloody heck. but they then proceeded to show all dc their picture ... so got nagged all the way home to buy some

so took them to their df... he got nagged into purchasing them i'll just pinch the one. lol. afterall. he's the one with all the relatives who want one. no need for me to pay for that.

pc - maybe your phone being on silent is the problem. you have to keep checking for messages as it doesn't alert you itself. why not put it on ringtone. then you will only need to look at it when it makes a noise

forces should be up to my area start of next week. off to see his Dnephew who's arrived at a whopping 9lbs 4oz first down in surrey beside some of you lovely ladies.

and... it's his birthday 2 days after he leaves. so we have agreed to do something one days and make it his "birthday" instead. any ideas what i can do thats cheap as can be but still memorable?????? ordered a new car. need to save as much as possible by june. so really dont want to spend alot.

and if you can think of something involving frogs i'll be super impressed need to organise it now. as wont be able to do it once he's here

aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/03/2010 13:27

lol @ the rellies and their pics yep def get ex to did deep he doesn't dig deep enough imo
i mean how often do they stump up extra for all those extras like school uniforms/trips etc..grrrr
the real variety or the gallic kind juice?
what about a trip out to some kind of reptile place/zoo?
oh and buy him a few freddos whilst you're at it lol
glad to hear his dn arrived safe and sound and at a nice healthy weight too
OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 24/03/2010 14:30

oh good idea asbm. there's amazonian place at strathclyde park... and a little reptile section in a local zoo that is less than one mile from my house. or even edi zoo.

actually kids would love that too. we've said we would do some sort of day out for him to meet kids. might do that for that.

and do something else on our own for his birthday.

and i took him a freddo when i went to germany

what do you mean by gallic [dumb emoticon]

lou33 · 24/03/2010 14:43

see if you can find a cane toad to lick?

where has the day gone ffs? i still have loads to do

so far i have done school runs, some laundry, a college run, a pets at home trip, got dinner in the slow cooker , washed up and taken the pooch on a 1 hr 20 min walk, BUT i still have to do tidying up and get the boys, feed them and get them sorted for their school discos this evening

i want to have a nap

the amusing thing of the day was watching dora run into what she thought was a shallow puddle, only to suddenly find herself up to her ears in water

oh and we met the hugest dog in the history of the world

lou33 · 24/03/2010 14:48

i forgot i also had to take her to the vet for a monthly puppy check up

still feel like i have been running about achieving nothing though

SingleMum01 · 24/03/2010 15:39

afternoon all . Can't believe its another thread already!

What's new?

cake4ever · 24/03/2010 17:43

Hi all

Pirate I know how you feel. Hope you heard from him.

Well I got a text lunch time from roofer saying sorry he hadn't been in touch much but was just too busy and tired to text/call in the evening and could we take a rain check on tonight because he wanted to have a bath and go to bed. So pretty keen then!!

Have had enough of this so I text him back and said that he didn't seem so keen anymore and so I didn't want to bug him so would leave it up to him now. Did mention that he was the one who said he wanted a relationship.

Guess what - nothing!! Do you think I've been over the top? Wouldn't have said some of those things if he hadn't been regularly talking (pre-sex that is) about wanting to be with me and be in a proper relationship and even talking about possible love!!

God now worried I've overdone it but actually it was going nowhere anyway.

Lou your mechanic sounds so fab. How long and how many dates did it take you to find him?!

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 24/03/2010 17:56

cake - i think you have done the right thing here. not over top. best to find someone who you know for sure is keen. and not suspicious of being strung along

cake4ever · 24/03/2010 18:34

Evening everyone.

Thanks Juice. Still no reply so i know the score. My God how can they do that. How can they be so callous - it's disgusting and it plays with people's lives. How can they knowingly say all the right things just to get a woman to sleep with them and then disappear.

I will never ever understand.

Oh well, as someone said the other day, onwards and upwards. I am not gonna give up.

Betty79 · 24/03/2010 19:11

Just a quick message before I go meet trucker, for what I said yest about dating more than one person. I'm not sleeping with anyone at mo, havent even had a proper snog from tucker yet, lets see if he makes a move tonight lol.

Have told EA i can get a sitter now for friday and he's just text and said he'll ring me tonight but I'm going out arghh!! what do i say?

Will be back later or tommorow to catch up properly!

cake4ever · 24/03/2010 19:19

Good luck Betty for tonight. How exciting. Just tell EA you're going out. You don't have to tell him why.

Let us know how it goes

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 24/03/2010 19:23

yeah, just say your going out. no further detaisl required.

lou33 · 24/03/2010 20:27

a few years cake

but by the second date with him he had officially asked me to be his gf, and he was so unlike anyone else i ever met it blew me away so i said yes and the rest is history

sincitylover · 24/03/2010 20:35

just marking my spot too - absolutely zero going on here in terms of dating.

Am more worried atm about my new mobile which has been signed for by someone down the road I don't know and who now appears to be out.

Am irrationally thinking they will deny taking it in (paranoid emoticon) - wtf is wrong with me they are probably just on shift work.

Puppy looks gorgeous lou.

Cake sorry to hear about roofer - they can tie you in knots sometimes I know.

Am curently on a complete no contact with exbf as the last time we were in touch he was so harsh it really stung me and I have decided not to contact him anymore.

SingleMum01 · 24/03/2010 20:38

evening all, just popping in. Now going to go and shave my legs in readiness for date tomorrow!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/03/2010 20:43

juice you're welcome
gallic means french, hence i wondered what type of frog!
but yep would def suit a 1st meet with the dcs that kind of outing, nice and relaxed with much to keep them occupied and interact with he's keen, as kids soak up info and facts don't they?
betty you're out end of..betty does have a life besides being a mum!

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/03/2010 20:55

scl that's awful and YANBU for being worried i'd be fuming!
hope you're coping with exbf situ

OP posts:
Monty100 · 24/03/2010 21:00

Cake - hope you're ok. If he contacts again, imo, you need to take a good step back and give him a chance to contact you.

Juice - zoo good plan. Meeting dcs eh? eh? lol

Betty - as above, you don't need to tell him what you're doing this evening.

Sponge -any developments?

thanks I just want to get hands on new phone.

Coping OK ASBM thanks actually think it was a bit of a wake up call finally. My fingers aren't even itching tbh. I think he will be surprised that I haven't got in touch.

He hadn't liked some texts I sent him one night a while back but conveniently forgot that he was very unreasonable just before Christmas. Not sure whether this it but something has def shifted in me. Which is good.
