so took them to their df... he got nagged into purchasing them i'll just pinch the one. lol. afterall. he's the one with all the relatives who want one. no need for me to pay for that.

pc - maybe your phone being on silent is the problem. you have to keep checking for messages as it doesn't alert you itself. why not put it on ringtone. then you will only need to look at it when it makes a noise

forces should be up to my area start of next week. off to see his Dnephew who's arrived at a whopping 9lbs 4oz first down in surrey beside some of you lovely ladies.

and... it's his birthday 2 days after he leaves. so we have agreed to do something one days and make it his "birthday" instead. any ideas what i can do thats cheap as can be but still memorable?????? ordered a new car. need to save as much as possible by june. so really dont want to spend alot.

and if you can think of something involving frogs i'll be super impressed need to organise it now. as wont be able to do it once he's here

oh good idea asbm. there's amazonian place at strathclyde park... and a little reptile section in a local zoo that is less than one mile from my house. or even edi zoo.

actually kids would love that too. we've said we would do some sort of day out for him to meet kids. might do that for that.

and do something else on our own for his birthday.

so far i have done school runs, some laundry, a college run, a pets at home trip, got dinner in the slow cooker , washed up and taken the pooch on a 1 hr 20 min walk, BUT i still have to do tidying up and get the boys, feed them and get them sorted for their school discos this evening

i want to have a nap

the amusing thing of the day was watching dora run into what she thought was a shallow puddle, only to suddenly find herself up to her ears in water

oh and we met the hugest dog in the history of the world

i forgot i also had to take her to the vet for a monthly puppy check up

still feel like i have been running about achieving nothing though

Well I got a text lunch time from roofer saying sorry he hadn't been in touch much but was just too busy and tired to text/call in the evening and could we take a rain check on tonight because he wanted to have a bath and go to bed. So pretty keen then!!

Have had enough of this so I text him back and said that he didn't seem so keen anymore and so I didn't want to bug him so would leave it up to him now. Did mention that he was the one who said he wanted a relationship.

Guess what - nothing!! Do you think I've been over the top? Wouldn't have said some of those things if he hadn't been regularly talking (pre-sex that is) about wanting to be with me and be in a proper relationship and even talking about possible love!!

God now worried I've overdone it but actually it was going nowhere anyway.

Lou your mechanic sounds so fab. How long and how many dates did it take you to find him?!

cake - i think you have done the right thing here. not over top. best to find someone who you know for sure is keen. and not suspicious of being strung along

Coping OK ASBM thanks actually think it was a bit of a wake up call finally. My fingers aren't even itching tbh. I think he will be surprised that I haven't got in touch.

He hadn't liked some texts I sent him one night a while back but conveniently forgot that he was very unreasonable just before Christmas. Not sure whether this it but something has def shifted in me. Which is good.
