WOW!

Iamacatslave · 14/02/2024 08:10

Chanel bed linen….

olderbutwiser · 14/02/2024 08:12

Oh thank you!

CJ4713 · 14/02/2024 08:14

I love that fact they need a sign in the bathroom to know what to do in there: 'WASH' 😬

greglet · 14/02/2024 08:14

Does anyone else have a really clear mental picture of the woman who owns it, and her poor husband in his Everton shirt who really wants to buy a black leather recliner to watch TV in, but isn't allowed?

Bloody hell!

FiveShelties · 14/02/2024 08:20

Just WOW and more WOW. My home is just so terribly boring compared to that.

VolvoFan · 14/02/2024 08:21

My eyes! 😵

DaBlackCatsAreDaBestCats · 14/02/2024 08:25

Yikes!!!

Weefreetiffany · 14/02/2024 08:27

Despite all the branding it’s the least Chanel thing I’ve ever seen. Credit to her for creating her own space though. It’s coherent to itself at least.

ToMissAdventure · 14/02/2024 08:56

This house clearly belongs to someone who loves their home and invests time in making it exactly as they want it. I genuinely hope it’s enjoyed. I get the impression it is. I’m not enjoying the undercurrent of shaming people who might not have the finances and middle class aesthetic sensibilities needed to replicate a home that would meet the approval of people on this board. There is a family this house is a home to and they might read this.

AngelsWithSilverWings · 14/02/2024 08:59

I can just about forgive the interior design but the gardens make me sad. There is nothing growing - I'm sure all of the pot plants are plastic.

Exactly this and fair play to her she has a spotless immaculate house. Not to my taste but wouldn't the world be a very boring place if we were all like robots liking and doing the same thing

Pigglyplaystruant99 · 14/02/2024 09:11

Reminds me of that old series My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding - it's kind of in that style. Spotless though!

TallulahBetty · 14/02/2024 09:13

Wow!! Not my taste at all, but it looks stunning and a lot of love and care has gone into that. I wonder why they are selling - must be a wrench to leave

ssd · 14/02/2024 09:21

It feels really mean to pick apart someone's home. And its got a snobbish undercurrent too.

Shame on you op.

I agree

LittleSnowdropsHeraldingSpring · 14/02/2024 09:25

Such a nasty thread, sneering at a person’s home.
what are you hoping for OP? Validation of your impeccable taste? A little bitch fest at the swag? Such a mean girls thread that I almost hope someone does something shaming about something you or a loved one holds dear.
nasty.

FreyafromLondon · 14/02/2024 09:28

Let's see your house OP? You sound like a snob!! Okay granted it's not to everyone's taste, but to publicly shame someone's home is shameful from you!

Lifebeganat50 · 14/02/2024 09:31

they’ll take all that furniture and stuff with them and it’ll just be walls, which can easily be painted.

It’s not to my taste, but my house sure as hell won’t be to theirs….

LemmysBullet · 14/02/2024 09:31

Let's see your gaff then op.

WhereIsMyLight · 14/02/2024 09:33

The house is absolutely fine. It’s been renovated and looks well maintained. The rooms are a good size. It’s got good off-road parking and a decent sized, low maintenance garden. It’s not to your taste in decoration, so what? The furniture will obviously leave with the current owner and most people decorate a house to their own taste when they move in. It really highlights your lack of imagination OP, if you can’t actually recognise it’s a great house and could be customised really easily to suit the new owner’s tastes. The only downside would be for someone who wants a garden with a lawn and plants as it may be time and cost intensive to put that in, which people might not want to commit to.

Petrine · 14/02/2024 09:34

It’s obviously someone’s much loved home. It’s impeccably clean and consistently styled.

I think it will sell quickly as you could just move straight in.

I don’t like the way this has been torn to pieces by people here. Obviously the OP put it up knowing that would happen. Shame on you.

Porfirio · 14/02/2024 09:35

Good grief! The hideous garden is bad enough but inside ..... 😱
