What truly gorgeous things have you bought for your house recently?

Half way through a long, messy renovation and feeling a bit disheartened.

What gorgeous things could I use to decorate/kit out my newly improved home when it's finished - approx a million weeks from now?

Dowser I've made a couple of these that I have hung on the wall. Could you do something like this? Mine are just single crochet stretched to fit a cheap frame that I took the glass/backing out of but I've just seen a couple where a charity shop piece of crochet/doily was used.

This is a brilliant thread. We are about to build a very modern house. We currently live in a 300 year old cottage. New house will be double the size AND open plan and yeah super modern. I'm not sure our stuff is gonna look right. Need help! It's very overwhelming!
