For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg
here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

the jury are still out as to exactly how many portions an innocent smoothie contains and i think the general consensus was that humzingers don't count but otherwise...come one come all!!!

oh wow - would love you to have it as well! i have no idea how Piano Men would cope with stairs though...

but am sure there are ways...

potentially old peoples home lady may ring me though - will i save it for you?

apple

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 12/02/2010 14:13

it plays well - is about a semitone flat though - has couple of duff notes but they are right up the top and down the bottom so don't hinder regular playing (you're a concert pianist aren't you )

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 12/02/2010 19:35

lol, I am NOT a concert pianist . Not even a primary school christmas concert pianist but that is what I aspire too. If the old people want it, let them have it. But I will make some calls and see if I can organise something in case you can't shift it. That ok?

Um, spinach.

MayorNaze · 14/02/2010 09:30

and the old people don't have the piano...

valentines day is postponed here as dh ate a poisoned kebab and has been laid up for 48 hrs...

its still much too early today so will list yesterday...

50 mins of davina
apple
banana
innocent pot thing WHICH DOES CONTAIN 3!!
smoothie that might be made by the aforementioned company and therefore does contain 2 portions...
tomato

happy valentines day everybody!!!

we need a heart smiley just for today...

{{{{{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}}}}chocolate and champagne hugs all round

lol at primary school pianist - ds and dd1 have a new headteacher and they are aghast as he does not play the piano

fortunately dd1's teacher is a hippy music type (rather like mike from friends!) who has stepped in to cover...

Hello OB v good to see you.
Excellent (kind of ) news Avi. I was thinking about you the other day as my book was talking baout aviatrixes.

RL is just too busy much of the time. Wea er short staffed at work so I have been working 5 days which I know is bugger all really but I like ot moan

Am averaging 5 or 6 a day. F&V that is.

SB, what a shitter of exdh. I htink he should spend a day with you sand ds on ds's home territory first. Or get the ILS down ot stay for a day first. How is your job? Are you moving? Are you enjoying being back here?

My ILs are not liking the cold! And not being able to dry washing, everthing getting damp kinda thing. It is birthday season round here so they are enjoying seeing us all for birthdays though.

{{{}}} ot all that need em.

TigerFeet · 14/02/2010 23:36

ugh

the winter vomiting bug has struck chez Feet

unfortuately the hardest hit has been poor little babytiger

she has been very poorly bless her

hurrah for bf, without it i reckon she'd be dehydrated by now

she also has a viral throat infection and has lost her voice

am worried about going to sleep and not being able to hear her cry

hopefully we will all be better tomorrow

the washing machine can't take any more

SuperBunny · 16/02/2010 16:18

Still not sorted out ExH & DS at Easter but he's not asking about it any more so I am not pushing it.

I sold my house on Friday, hurrah. All completed which is a big relief. However, when the new people moved in on Friday, it seems there has been a leak in the property (burst pipe?) and they want me to pay for the damage. The agents said I don't have to because the buyers should have inspected the house before they exchanged last week but I don't know what to do. I think I will have to pay

Erm veg soup. Juice. Blueberries.

SuperBunny · 16/02/2010 16:24

Meant to say, hope you all get better soon, Tiger. Poor DD2

ThePinkOne · 16/02/2010 21:05

How much are they claiming Bunny? Could you go halves as a gesture of goodwill?

Tiger, hope you all feel better soon!

Rach, good to see you.

Boco · 16/02/2010 21:11

Hello fruity bitches, not seen yous for ages.

Sorry to hear about burst pipe annoyance sb, seems v bad luck to have to pay.

Anyone seen toots lately, how's she doing?

Am applying for a job, deadline tomorrow. Hoping I get it and hoping i don't because it's a bit scary in equal measure.

OsmosisBanana · 19/02/2010 17:12

Howdy.

I am finding the more training I do for this blumin' marathon, the less F&V I eat. Wrongness.

Don't spose the piano is still going Mayor?? I live in Briz and would love one. DH wouldn't... maybe that is why i want it...

Sounds rubbish TF, all better now??

I ran 6 miles yesterday. My back, knees, ankles and all related muscles are not happy about it.

Am I going to be able to coax any of you into donating to a v v v worthwhile cause???? I'm doing the Bristol 10k and the Plymouth half marathon within 3 weeks of each other so you'd get your moneys worth if watching me suffer is your game!! The charity is called SOS Sahel, they work with farmers in The Sudan, Ethiopia etc. I won't bang the drum too much as I realise I'm being a bit cheeky, but hey, running 2 races in May?? Surely very 10/10???

How goes it with anyone who's around?? Hello??

SuperBunny · 19/02/2010 18:10

Hope job application was ok Boco. Lovely to see you on here.

I just agreed to buy a house

SuperBunny · 19/02/2010 18:16

Baked beans

SuperBunny · 19/02/2010 18:22

OP posts:
EllieMental · 20/02/2010 16:11

oh just realised i am still name changery..
It's me! Molly!

I will read thread and make appropriate remarks in a mo but just want to share - I have just had a visit from the Pink family. And I got cuddles from Baby Pink who is one tomorrow and lil' Miss Pink is divinely cute and well-mannered and Mr Pink settled in happily with the other lego fans in the house and Pink looks marvellous and it was just lovely

EllieMental · 20/02/2010 16:16

LR if I was going for lunch there I would have rosemary bread with roasted red onions and the bath ale stew (rich bath ale stew with roasted carrots and shallots, potatoes, borlotti beans and mushrooms with rarebit toast)

MayorNaze · 20/02/2010 16:22

ooh ale stew for me as well...

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 20/02/2010 16:33

Ooo, Ellie, how lovely. I cannot believe that baby Pink will be ONE

Actually, Mayor, house is perfect for a piana... will take 6 - 8 weeks for house to be properly mine. So, depends if you can wait that long. If you CAT me your whereabouts, I can get proper quote for moving it... have been slack in doing stuff like that

MayorNaze · 20/02/2010 16:37

oh god SB am not hassling you!!! takey your timey dear, is old crappy piano anyway...will send you a nice CAT at some point, but not this point as am not even supposed to be mning but am supposed to be hemming school trousers

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 20/02/2010 17:40

Oh no no nooo, you weren't hassling me. Just if you want rid in the next couple of weeks, I am not your girl. BUT if it is not terribly urgent, I would be more than happy to oblige in a couple of months. Have fun hemming those trousers. I should fish DS out of the bath - I am sat in the corner of the bathroom MNing whilst he's playing fishies
