For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Whoa there, SB. That is one mother of a list. I have some goats cheese and mushroom frittatas in the fridge that I am looking forward to. I don't make ommlette very often.

Are you really busty? I imagine you being very tall and angular for some reason.

I think why change a good thing, but then, I might think something else tomorrow. Taxis are good, but clubs? Well, clubs attract loons don't they?

Halloumi salad. Wine. Chocolate. Oh well.

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2009 20:23

I actually realize that I don't care at all, and have absolutely no opinion on this whatsoever. I will cast my vote with whoever I think is the prettiest candidate.

FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:23

but everyone ISN'T agreeing with me Boco [tetchy]
i don't know
it feels nice to be asked doesn't it
and i like that justine said our titles were funny
but she did NOT know who the leader was
harrumph

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2009 20:24

You're not the leader, we just let you think that because it pleases you.

I think Justine was being tactful, don't you?

FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:24

erm who is prettiest 10/10 er? we haven't had this one before
is it hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
is it

osba?

FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:25

so why was she being tactful
is she really trying to hide us in a corner somewhere?

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2009 20:25

I suspect SB of being a looker

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/03/2009 20:25

Have not seen that polar bear thing, but I bloody LOVE Meerkat Manor.

I thought Guad was talking about 80's biscuits/choc bars when she mentioned Taxis and clubs

Did the halloumi squeak in your teeth?

Guadalupe · 25/03/2009 20:26

Lol @ Justine being all Mr Houseman.

So, who's Baby then?

FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:27

so please tell of meerkat manor
i wanted to get meerkats united but is only on vhs
how can 3 series of programmes on meerkats be a good thing

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2009 20:27

Yes, isn't she? Surely she is. She can't really create a topic because it looks nice to read all the threads at once? Do you think? Seems unlikely. Perhaps they want to give people the chance to hide because everyone HATES us?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/03/2009 20:27

nobody puts Franny in a corner !!

OP posts:
pinkspottywellies · 25/03/2009 20:27

I'm the prettiest 100x and I say no. It would make it seem more quiche-y and if it's purely for the amusement on MNHQ so they can sit and laugh at us then NO.

FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:29

oh i believed her
gosh am i very very naive and egotistical?

actually don't answer that

Guadalupe · 25/03/2009 20:29

Whatever doesn't make us look like free therapy gets my vote.

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2009 20:30

lol @ mashed potato.

I don't know Franny! I'm making it up. For sport, that's all.

Guadalupe · 25/03/2009 20:30

Because the caseload is full.

Boco · 25/03/2009 20:30

No, having it's own category makes it LESS quichey and more open to everyone.

FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:31

i don't even know who mr houseman is

Guadalupe · 25/03/2009 20:33

Yes, you do.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/03/2009 20:33

Meerkat Manor is a tale about a clan of meerkats and tells you all about the clan's heirarchy (v interesting) Then over the way is a rival clan who are always trying to usurp the meerkat manor clan from their burrows. Then there is a Romeo and Juliet style love story between members of the two different clans. I think Juliet gets up the duff by Romeo and is ignored by her chums.

It's one of the few nature programmes I like because there aren't murders and dieing left right and centre, like all other nature programmes seem to have.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/03/2009 20:35

I sound like a meerkat nerd

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 25/03/2009 20:35

thanks lemur

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/03/2009 20:38

yes, who is mr houseman? and who was the poster called mitsubishi-something-or-other?

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 25/03/2009 20:40

Duh, and double duh.

Mr Houseman is baby's father and he puts baby in the corner until johnny says nobody does that and they all move like the wiind doing the mashed potato having the time of their lives. Obviously.
