For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

have survived part 1 of grandma invasion
ds2 has been absolutely charming which was v gratifying
after i told her "don't mention eczema please as it makes ds1 worried" she walked in and said "so why is he going to the doctor? is he ill?"
i found it quite funny really

avi hope ds is ok

i thought she had 'got' wnaky baskets, as i have explained loads of times, and she brought ds2 a few things for his for christmas

however this was first time she saw ds2 playing with one and she kept saying "he's got something in his mouth!!!"

LOL

Ah well, next time

I was on a self-imposed youtube ban until I clicked those

Avi I don;t like rashes either. I think if he isn;t unwell though probably not to worry too much at this point.

FrayedKnot · 02/03/2009 20:04

Do you refer to them as wnaky baskets in front of your mother, Franny?

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 20:07

erm no
i don't say it at work either
it would out me somewhat (as if it wasn't blatantly obvious anyway)

so
can you believe about 100's book
i am really nervy about it
what if it is too clever for me and i have to pretend i have read it?

pinkspottywellies · 02/03/2009 20:17

You missed my suggestion. 'Your ceps is on fire'. You could also have 'I wanna ceps you up'.

My 100x book coming too It's exciting isn't it! I might be too excited to read it, I might have to just put it in a corner for a bit. She probably thinks we're freaky Franny, with our book nerves.

pinkspottywellies · 02/03/2009 20:20

Glad the visit wasn't too horrendous Franny. Guess it helps when you can laugh about it!

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 20:24

Just ordered mine. Who will read it first then? Will we do book group on here?

I am waiting to go to book group and ds2 is not asleep and my babysitter does not know him though I know her and I cannot go until he is asleep. Bloody annoying.
