For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

BBBee, stay and have soup

If you get a splinter and there is no-one there, who will take it out for you?

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:49

----> yes, with supersonic powers

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:49

I didn't get the arrow right but I just wanted to feel a part of it.

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:50

-> I bet she could crush a mango with her bare hands ->

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:51

Is anyone else looking to the right?

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:52

---> Franny off to the right

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:54

we are looking in the wrong place. Franny is on the home page. I think. But then I am a little worse for wear.

BBBee · 02/03/2009 22:57

well it took me that long to read the fucking thread.

well guad - I have been to my bookgropu too and we are doing 100s book too - i did a big gushing sell and they are all anticipatory and there was even talk of hardback.

then i got side tracked onto a huge plan about the next bookgropu being no books =but wine and cheese because it is near my birthday and then a long discussion about the origin of 'cunt' - but in essence we are doing 100's book.

have ordered it.

boco i did see the postcard and have one up on my cupboard. i am glad you thought of me - espcially as i am all fifties and prinked like that woman.

courgette
pepper
onion
mushroom
tomato
quorn (do we count quorn?)
green beans
olives

good for me - bad for 10/10. i think my splinter group is going to be the 3/7 club.

BBBee · 02/03/2009 22:58

not implying that 100 is anything to do with wine cheese and cunt - that wasn't my descrpition of her - that is just where the conversation went. I did not say "read this my friend wrote it and she eats brie...."

Where's the beard porn? The guy I have dated a bit has apparently shaved off his beard. I am yet to see the result. Not keen on that erm top franny. It's a bit um youthful. Well done on surviving your mum.

Avi, hope DS's rash is better in the morning. Sometimes the just disappear for no reason.

at all owl sightings. I don't think we have any here.

I am not in a book group but I could join the one I keep meaning to go to and insist on reading ahundred's book but I suspect they will not be thrilled at a bossy newcomer insisting on a British book. Is it going to be released over here 100? Will you come to chicago and do a book signing? I heard that Time Travellers Wife woman read a bit of her book last year - you could come and do that.

Can't help ing at you lot,

I see owls but never a snowy one...big . Loads of kingfisher sightings around here, and a woodpecker comes to a friends bird feeder.

We could all go with a hundred to chuicago as groupies and all stay at SB's have a meet over there .

I want to know about 100's book, can someone tell me?

mollyroger · 03/03/2009 08:28

If I had a copy of 100's book, I could read it faster than any of you...I could. I'm really fast...

mollyroger · 03/03/2009 08:29

Gosh. There really are a lot of minutes between now and 2pm, aren't there?
