For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I think it's okay if it's spring metal in a stir fry.

pointydog · 02/03/2009 22:23

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:24

blimey, boco, based on those revelations it must be one new thing a year. I know I am a little secretive but really.

Re ingin. It's a scots word for onion. That's it.

dd2's oxters smell of ingins. They really do, so we say that a lot while passing the deodorant.

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 22:29

i am lost

s'ok, I don't believe in stickers

ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:29

Ingin - scottish word for onion. Isn't that right teach?

Now, I knew she was a teacher see, but I thought she lived in Ireland. Why is that? Have you ever lived in Ireland?

Last week I found out from Pointy that she is obsessed, OBSESSED I tell you, with roundabouts.

pointydog · 02/03/2009 22:29

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 22:30

ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:31

erm, erm, I think oxtets or whatever she said is a scottish word for erm, either armpits or feet.

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:31

You're right, quite secretive, slow progress - so, give us some detail now to make up for it, maybe some photos, your CV, relationship history, intimate thoughts etc.

ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:31

Damn x post again

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 22:31

I wasn't late for bookgroup as I got the time wrong. I was late back for the babysitter though. And I did bad weightwatching and drank gin and wine and pretzekls and crisps and mini liebniz.

We discussed future books and we are going to do 100's! It was my turn next but we are going to wait till next time so it's out in paperback. Stingey group, exceptfor snacks. The snacks are plentiful to my chagrin.

That'll be a whole year. OMG. How can they bear to wait that long?

Thank you. Actually thank you all.

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:33

I haven't been listing so Franny thinks she is winning.

There, there, Franny. Apple?

pointydog · 02/03/2009 22:34

I am tempted to eat five plums to beat franny

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:34

No,no, not a year??? Caroline said it would take three months to be in paperback... that's how long hers took.

ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:35

I might make a tearful speech.

If Boco insisting Pointy share her intimate thoughts and CV doesn't see her off, I'm confident my - gather, gather - speech will.

But I won't, I like PD. She needs to stay. She needs to stay and tease that plum, and feel overwhelmed by fruit and have concerns about waste.

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 22:35

look boco here is a ruddy gorgeous erm top
