For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:39

Yes Franny, you must. Excellent idea. Don't listen to them, I think it's quite normal to arrive and then INSIST they do your choice the very next week.

pinkspottywellies · 02/03/2009 22:40

Of course Franny has to win. It's her club. She started it cause she knew she would always win.

Although it's not really about winning but about boosting health and all the stuff in the OP. But Franny is competitive

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:40

Well, that's how long it took her book, and that was with Piatkus.

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:40

Hang around outside for a couple of weeks first Franny, waving the book through the window and shouting 'this is my FRIEND, I KNOW HER!' I think then they'll be fine with it.

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 22:41

it's about boosting my health by letting me win
me winning is very good for my immune system

i don't know why you keep doing winkies about me having to win pink
no-one is fooled into thinking you are joking

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:42

No need. Carolne is very nice and invites me to literary things in London and reads my work and I read her drafts and so on and my name is in her book.

She has helped Boco with clay lump too.

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2009 22:43

i hope it comes tomorrow
how long will you give us to read it before you start jumping up and down and shouting "WELL????"

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:43

How interesting, I had no idea. Perhaps this is the sort of question I should ask?

Okay, am going to look at 24 now on plus, and speed through the adverts to get to more guns and blowing-up and Jack telling everyone they must trust him. Good night. Thank you for ordering and being nervous too - gather, gather - is v. kind and supportive and feels nice.

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:44

I offered to mention her in my dissertation but this wasn't quite the same level of offering.

Franny is always the WINNER. Okay, people?

ahundredtimes · 02/03/2009 22:44

Oh no, I'll be good Fra, promise. I'll be elegant and relaxed and with a steady patient air.

FrayedKnot · 02/03/2009 22:45

Guadalupe · 02/03/2009 22:46

Yes, soup. No guilty waste in my bin. No siree.

FrayedKnot · 02/03/2009 22:47

Turnip, spring ingin and mango a speciality

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:47

I feel bad, did I scare off Pointy? Pointy I don't really need to see CV.

Covering letter would be fine. With ONE small picture. Passport size fine.

Franny your immune system must be superhero

Boco · 02/03/2009 22:48
