Had a nasty reaction to deep heat, not sure if I need to go to a&e or GP’s

It’s basically burnt my fingers, I was putting it on DH’s back for him and it suddenly felt like my fingers were burning. I don’t know if it’s an allergic reaction or a burn. DH is fine. I’ve never used it before.

Thanks, it’s a lot less sore than it was! Will wear my really thick gloves for work should be fine.

Thanks, it’s fine now just dry and itchy! I’ve been putting thick moisturiser on and cotton gloves to sleep in as advised. They just said it might be a bit more sensitive for a while, but no lasting issues.

Will you have any scars or have you been told it will heal fully? Glad you are on the mend.

No they think it will fully heal without scaring. They did say my hand will be sensitive for quite a while and I’ve got to keep using moisturiser to keep it soft. But looking back I had a lucky escape really.
