don't laugh - embarrasing question

i had thrush a couple of days ago but it got really bad on a sunday when the chemists were closed. my friend told me to put some natural yoghurt down there because of the live bacteria but i didn't have any natural yoghurts but i did have some blue cheese i thought the bacteria would be the same and do the same thing. so i heated the cheese up a bit and spread it downthere. i have been doing this for a few days now but now my bits have turned a funny blue colour and the smell is awful. what should i do?

This has to be a wind-up surely?

Tinker · 04/07/2006 13:12

stop doing it?

SoupDragon · 04/07/2006 13:13

pmsl!

clumsymum · 04/07/2006 13:14

Wash it all off NOW.

I don't think the bacteria for blue cheese is the same.

Treat your thrush in a conventional way (the fungus is probably thriving, what with being added to like that),

and if it hasn't cleared up by Thurs morning see your doctor.

bluehorizons · 04/07/2006 13:18

i did say not to laugh. it is embarrasing because i dont know what to say to the doctor. it is horrid down there when i go to the toilet for a wee i have to spray air freshener because it smells of gone off cheese and my bits are actually blue. i have stopped using it but i was using it for a few days morning and night. i havent told anyone else this. would dairylea be a good idea then?

biglips · 04/07/2006 13:19

diarylea !!!!

chapsmum · 04/07/2006 13:19

good heavens no!
you need a good wash and some canasten!
sit in a bath with a few drops of tea tree oil in it (not soap) and get some canasten from the chemist of the dr.

waterfalls · 04/07/2006 13:20

Have a long soke in the bath, with bi carb, may take a few days, then get the proper medication, blue cheese is obviously not working.

heavenis · 04/07/2006 13:20
