Orgasms - personal but am dying to know!

Another thread on here as reminded me of a burning question I have had for ages.

In a conversation with a girl friend of mine, she said that she orgasmed during penetrative sex. I don't. Only during foreplay. Are we doing something wrong?

What do other people experience?

What nationality were they? Surely not British, we don't talk about things like that!

daisiesinaline · 30/12/2005 14:42

Where has everybody gone? Are you all off having VO?

scuse me for being thick but was is the difference between VO and Co - surely they are one and the same - clitoral stimulation makes the vagina contract and relax - no?

I have had orgasm during penetration (although very rare) but tbh I much prefer manual stimulation, I find it more intense.

RudolphsAuntMabel · 30/12/2005 15:12

what's an orgasm?

noddyholder · 30/12/2005 15:12

a vo and co are definitely not the same.A co is fairly easily achieved and quite predictable in that you can usually rely on it but the other is a different thing altogether and usually puts dp in the good books for a fair few days if not weeks after

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 30/12/2005 15:19

god this thread is funny.

am I stating the bleeding obvious or the holy grail if I say that to achieve a VO your g-spot is involved and for a CO your clitoris is involved?!!

I hope you all know where your G-spot is ladies (pph gives you all a stern look) because he isn't going to find it without you showing him. Unless he stumbles over it in the dark once a decade that is...

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 30/12/2005 15:20

Oh and a vo is the only one which causes female ejaculation.

or have I completely killed this thread now?!!!

Salsa · 30/12/2005 15:22

Glad this subject has come up. DH has told me that I am abnormal for never having a VO with him only a CO. He even thought it would be wise to see a doctor. All his ex girlfriends had no problems having VOS. I did point out that they were probably faking it.

orgasmatron · 30/12/2005 15:29

pph, might be bleeding obvious to you but I have ejaculated and can't say that the orgasm was especially different to any other - of course they all vary but I've not had many disappointments

I have a friend who swears she has multiple orgasms but I don't buy it, I have very long orgasms that can go on and on but as for one after the other, never, and anyway it becomes too painful if my clit is over-stimulated

Blossomhill · 30/12/2005 15:29

Rampant Rabbit = 100% guaranteed orgasm

Blushing2 · 30/12/2005 15:31

So a puddle = a VO? If that's the case it's not all it's cracked up to be. I agree there must be a bit more to it than that, as I often have puddle.

Glitterygook · 30/12/2005 15:31

Excuse me, I'm trying to work here. THanks.

Blushing2 · 30/12/2005 15:34

Frequent puddles and still a lack of fulfillment, sleeping in wet bed afterwards, yuck.

Blossomhill · 30/12/2005 15:34

Blushing - what on earth are you on about, paddle? LOL. Please talk in English

skerriesmum · 30/12/2005 15:38

OK, I usually do during penetration, with him on top but also if I'm on top. If you're lying down, a pillow or two under your hips is helpful... helps reach the right "spot", the deeper the better!

BonyBethleheM · 30/12/2005 15:48

Oh - no time to read whole thread but I always do if dh is on top and we are very close - it's called the CAT (coital algnment technique) and you basically need to make sure you pelvic bones press together.
I rwead about it years ago in Cosmo and it changed my life .

daisiesinaline · 30/12/2005 16:11

A female ejaculation! . What world have I been living in! I have never heard of that before! Is there something wrong with me! Now I really feel like I am missing out!

daisiesinaline · 30/12/2005 16:32

Tamba where have you gone? Are you having another 'quickie'

OP posts:
JackFrostStini · 30/12/2005 16:42

I have ejaculated but only during CO not VO.
Like Orgasmatron - I find it painful if too much stimulation. Especially afterwards - once I have come - don't touch!

cupcakesbakingonanopenfire · 30/12/2005 16:47

I think if you want a VO it depends more on your state of mind than which position you're using (although that does help). If you're worrying about not having one then you probably won't. I think it gets easier the older you get and the more relaxed you are with your body.

JenumGeranium · 30/12/2005 16:49

...and the more relaxed you are with DH or DP I think also plays a part!

myrrhthamoo · 30/12/2005 16:50

I only have an orgasm if dh keeps his socks on.

JenumGeranium · 30/12/2005 16:53

Ewwwwwwww!

Salsa · 30/12/2005 16:56

More likely to have an orgasm in the summer as it is too cold to have sex in the winter. I don't like to have to take my socks off,
