Orgasms - personal but am dying to know!

Another thread on here as reminded me of a burning question I have had for ages.

In a conversation with a girl friend of mine, she said that she orgasmed during penetrative sex. I don't. Only during foreplay. Are we doing something wrong?

What do other people experience?

Ah you see, but I'm going on it being a vaginal orgasm and not a clitoral one. That's what I understand by an orgasm during penetrative sex.

I am also like FlameRobin. Have to get to the stage where I am almost there, then have penetration. For me right position is either me on top leaning forward or as HC describes. Has to be close enough for friction on the exact spot. To be a bit graphic - he needs to have pubic hair there too!(so glad you cant all see my face)

Yup, the "almost there" stage is pretty crucial - if it takes too long then its never gonna happen. Clitoral, it needs to be both of us sat up and very close together... vaginal - hard to tell, its normally after alcohol when I've decided to try a pile of weird and wonderful positions, so can never remember afterwards which one did it!!!

I really can't believe how much I say on here... methinks this would have been one of those times where it would have been ok to change my name??

Ok here it is!

The position I find works the best is me on top of dh facing him. It also helps if he can reach my breasts and kiss/lick them - omg cant believe I have just typed that .

I also climax more often from a 'quickie' as opposed to an all nighter!

Oh and while I am embarassing myself I sometimes like to imagine someone is watching us (omg I sound like a real perv dont I?!)

Hmmmm. Without giving far far TMI I have to say that orgasm through penetration is more elusive but much more satisfying. I haven't achieved it in a while. Will read Shere Hite for help.
