They are going to announce the Oscars nominations around 1.30pm today. If you are interested you can livestream at Oscar.com, Oscars.org,

I am hoping for nominations for Demi Moore and Marianne Jean Baptiste in the best actress categories, and also hoping for a few other surprises.

I did admire Brodie in the Brutalist.

Well no surprises there, but I would have loved to see Colman Domingo get it.

The only nominated film I've actually seen is Emilia Perez! Only out of sheer curiosity and cos it was on Netflix. It was a very bizarre film indeed.

I'll just say it - I hated Anora. No depth to the characters. Just lots of sex, jokes that were marginal at best and a completely obvious plotline. Overhyped crap.

Yes, she's a sex worker in Anora - stripper and prostitute. To be fair, she was great, but not as good as either Fernanda Torres or Demi Moore.
