Is anyone else interested to see what happens here.

They are going to announce the Oscars nominations around 1.30pm today. If you are interested you can livestream at Oscar.com, Oscars.org,

I am hoping for nominations for Demi Moore and Marianne Jean Baptiste in the best actress categories, and also hoping for a few other surprises.

Gorgeous isn't it. Has personal significance for me that I won't go into but in addition I saw a really powerful work using it combined with dance a couple of years ago, in response to covid experience.

Hurrah. No need to see any other international movie with subtitles.

4 best picture noms had subtitles.

5 more awards to go? Maybe I'll manage to stay awake for it!

Oh just 4 more to go and I know I have seen all them!
So just 5 of 23 I have not seen. That's manageable. Assuming they come to streaming soon.

I'd be happy with Timmy or Raif too.

Next year I must make an effort to actually watch the nominated films! ( and I love films too )

I want The Substance to win best film. It won't.

Though Timmy makes me feel Shame when he is in his underwear in the movie as he looks sooo young.

I'd be happy with Timmy. Not Ralph - for personal reasons, which I won't go into.

Though lithogoe or tuchi also great in conclave..

It's easier if you are semi retired and have all the streaming platforms available.
