Wouldn't say all Bond films are rubbish however the new ones aren't great. Much prefer the old ones.

2012, The Day After Tomorrow, Supervolcano are great. There was one 10.5 with Beau Bridges which was good and had an OK follow on.

Many remakes just make me wonder why they bothered.

The Matrix was dull as fuck - an ex made me watch it, I told him it wasn't enjoyable at all and his response was "You're just not intelligent enough to understand it" 🙄🙄

Vanilla Sky - still not sure what it was about. I do remember nearly dying of boredom though.

The book was the only horror I've ever read that gave me chills, but yes the film was disappointing. I feel bad for Shelley Duval, who was rumoured to be badly bullied during the making of it. Kubrick either didn't like her or maybe it was part of some acting method practice.
