Yes, exactly. You’re going to have to work an awful lot harder than that to make me interested in a bunch of men shooting a bunch of other men. See also Westerns, crime thrillers, Tarantino, Michael Mann etc. Crime isn’t that interesting.

I think I read the novel after I’d seen the film only to figure out how decomposed KST’s character would have been when he finally got back to the cave. As the film rather glossed over that part…

I bloody love those "terrible" shark movies - the final fight scene in Mega Shark v Giant Octopus, with the octopus losing the same tentacle four or five times due to no CGI budget, is pure cinematic genius.

Crap disaster movies are the best!

I actually think Twister is a brilliant film, come to think of it.

There was a horrible shark film on Amazon. So bad it was glorious. The shark was a cardboard cutout and you could the person waving it about and they kept reusing the same sea footage.
