This is a mild mannered researcher, highly educated, appeared to be an animal lover. Featured on programmes with David Attenborough.

In his free time liked to torture animals for sexual kicks.

Still blaming others, not taking responsibility for his choice.

This case to me shows how impossible it is to "pick the right man", and what annoying thing that is to say to abused women. And also that these men systematically blame their abnormal sex drive on an "illness" or addiction, rather than facing up to the fact they can control their penises.

I don't know what the answer is. I wish he was never getting out of jail.

If you want to try and prevent these sort of sickening crimes, and catch the perpetrators, its actually both logical and useful to know who is most likely to commit them.

I'll tell you the problem, its men. Many times more men than women commit truly awful things on unable to consent animals and non consenting women.

If I was to be attacked (again) would I prefer a woman to be attacking me or a man? Obviously a woman, I stand a small chance of defending myself against a women, I stand almost zero chance to defend myself from a man.

This is a known thing. Every woman knows it. Every man knows it.

Yes I know full well what its like to be attacked by men when non-consenting, including the very one closest to me. I will leave it there, I understand and agree with your points.

No plenty of women are not just as evil and torturest as men. Jails are not full of female murderers or rapists. That would be the male prison population. Most women in jail are in for minor matters including shoplifting or not paying a fine. Those women are generally very poor, not well educated and have been beaten and battered all their lives. Many will have been sexually abused as well. The couple of really evil women that exist, and that's a couple, they get big headlines as it's so unusual. It's incredible on a website for women/mothers that anyone would suggest in the category: rapist/paedophile/torturer/beastality that there are 'plenty of women' in that category.

That man involved in this crime is one sadistic bastard, crimes so heinous it makes for difficult reading. Do not equate a man like this, of whom there are plenty, with crimes committed by women.

This has nothing to do with demonising all men. Most men are pretty decent human beings, but as a sex category, they are the ones who are more evil and vile than women.

Thanks Tuilip, I see you came back from your statement, I assume you just worded it badly. I do see there is a lot of apparent men basing on this website, but there is a reason for this, many of the women come on here for advice and a lot of it is about babies and children, mothers in law, grandparents, but there is also a lot of it about the bad behavour of men. So it's perfectly normal that if you were only looking at it from a view of men, that it would seem that this site thinks "all men are bastards". But it only seems that way, because this website is a type of 'help' place, we don't get to see that many of us have great men in our lives, we all have encountered bad men, but in the main, like women, most are pretty decent.

What I must say though, is for the sexual deviancy, this one is pretty shocking. Honestly do I even want to know this stuff. While realising that I must know it, for to know it is to see it, and prevent it if I can.

This evil man is someone's spouse/son/brother. Can not imagine what it is like for those women who know him. To find out how evil a man he is. And to the world he was hiding who he really was. It does make me wonder what else is out there that I don't see. (Shudders)

Yes, Cloudflare (and a few other internet infrastructure companies) have tried to remove Kiwi Farms from the internet by refusing them service. The Farmers got together and donated to a substantial legal fund to sue companies (for spreading disinformation about KF) and since then the site has had fewer issues with service disruption.

KF is a strange gossip website, and resolutely a free speech zone, but the users hate child abuse, elder abuse, and animal abuse and have been involved in figuring out the identity of (and documenting evidence against) abusers in the past.

There are sexual sadists of both sexes, that is true. The very small number of sexually sadistic women, who are convicted (obviously we don't know about those who are never caught) are known by name in popular culture. I do think we need to guard against believing that women cannot abuse and be sexual sadists, as then their victims will have an even harder time being believed.

I just read about what he actually did to the dogs in the videos (I suggest you don't) and I can assure you all that this was a very male crime. As in, many of the things he did would be physically impossible for a woman to do even if she wanted to, which she wouldn't.

Unfortunately morbid curiosity got the better of me too and I searched out more info. I concur, what he did is as male as it can possibly be.

Thanks, i didnt explain myself very well that was my mistake. I know how we see the bad side of men on mumsnet, I even posted recently about one in my life! That can skew our feelings towards the whole male sex and cause us to make generalisations. I will agree that men seem to be the most violent and sadistic of the two sexes however. This particular crime js abhorrent, I couldn't read about it all.

I think these crimes are particularly obscene, so much so that in all honesty I think this transcends any generalisations based on sex.

I don't think it transcends sex at all, his genitalia were involved in ways female genitalia couldn't be. And I just don't think women are motivated towards, what could I can it...? Let's call it 'the destruction and rape of innocence', like some men are when their natural instinct to procreate misfires somehow.

I’m really glad I didn’t seek out further details about this case (in moments of morbid curiosity I nearly did). Several recent posts have given enough information such that I get the drift without having to read it in black and white. It’s actually hard to see people like this as human. I wish he was going to be serving a longer sentence. I’m horrified for his family. How horrendous it must be to discover you have someone like this for a husband/father/brother/son.

I don't understand what you are trying to say here. This is a crime that only a deviant man could commit. I am happy to generalise.

These threads always end up the same, people pretend they actually give a shit about those people / animals being harmed but actually they just want a petty argument about it being men to blame and women would never do such things.
Horrible case, like lots of other horrible cases.
