But you have got to do points 3,4 and 5

puska · 19/05/2005 21:14

i can see you have started step 1

do you think it would be a good idea to have all of your support networks set up and in place ready for the big step 2 - which btw were in no particular order...

Tessiebear · 19/05/2005 21:15

Puskca - so glad you are all giving SM so much support!

Tessiebear · 19/05/2005 21:16

SM - i think that if the chips were down your folks would be more supportive than you think

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:16

So scared he will find this thread!
I agree I MUST do steps 3,4 & 5 VERY soon.
Step 3 (?) is already in the pipeline.

bev1e · 19/05/2005 21:16

Stop analysing the situation, stop making excuses and start taking some responsibility for the sake of your poor children who deserve a life!!

Caribbeanqueen · 19/05/2005 21:18

If you are worried about how you will cope financially, can you find a solicitor who gives a free initial consultation, just to find out where you would stand. H would have to provide for the kids at least.

puska · 19/05/2005 21:18

i would refuse to bite

Ulysees · 19/05/2005 21:22

Have to go now SM, will talk tomorrow if you're around xxxxxxxxxx

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:23

Will not bite!
I know people will be getting wound up with me & looking back at this thread from an outsider, I would get wound up with me!
However it is VERY difficult when you are in the situation itself.
I am making small steps & feel I have come a Hell of a long way in my own mind recently.
I will look up some solicitors soon.

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:36

And I don't mean that I will look up solicitors soon, in a put it off kind of way.
I promise I will!

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:48

I guess the reason that I haven't spoken to school & SENCO about things yet, is because I work there & know everyone VERY personally, but I guess it HAS to be done.

puska · 19/05/2005 21:48

keep going with those small steps - its a start and before you know it you will be running

puska · 19/05/2005 21:51

i have no doubt that your colleagues will have guessed by now - i think we sometimes fool ourselves into thinking we are hiding things, children also give out clues without you even realising.

SM none of this is your fault - this is the key thing you need to keep reminding yourself NO ONE will blame you.

I do fear that you will be blamed if you dont sort something soon though

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:53

Thanks puska!
I am feeling very emotional again now & like I am the crappest mother that has ever walked this earth.
My self confidence is pretty poor at the best of times, but I really feel awful right now & disgusted with myself.

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:56

Crossed pots!
I was not saying that in a nasty way, I was thanking you for your support!

stressedmummy · 19/05/2005 21:57
