What would happen if I didn’t collect DS from after school club?

Just that really? Due to be collected before 6pm
I feel beyond able to cope with life at the moment. I have Adhd, asd and bipolar. No one can help so that’s that! So if I didn’t collect him what would happen to him. Would children’s services just get involved? I don’t want this for him but I feel like I don’t have much options left. He’s not hard work or anything, he’s a lovely boy which makes this even harder. I just think he’s he would better off in a different situation with someone other than me

Help. Keep saying it until someone comes to see you.

Try saying it out loud on your own so you can get used to the sound of it

"I am not coping and I need urgent help"
"I'm thinking about different ways to die"
"I need an emergency prescription for my medication"
"I am worried I am a danger to myself and I think my children will be better off without me"

Try practicing them so it will be easier when you say it to the next person you speak to.

You could also ask them for an email or mobile number then share a link to this thread so they can read your thoughts.

Oh OP. If you're not good with words why not just write it down and then read it out. You are having suicidal thoughts and ideation. You do not feel able to cope with life. You need someone to come and look after your kids as you are thinking about getting drunk and sleeping in the cold so you die.

Tell them! None of these things are lies! Tell them you are at crisis point.

Hell at this point call an ambulance they will have foster people look after the kids and get you back on meds.

Well done on all the steps you've taken to seek help OP. I have adhd and found withdrawing from meds so so brutal. I could barely function.

You must ask every professional if they can help reinstate your prescription. Even if they can't prescribe they should understand this is going on. for you too

Just checking in OP. Glad your son came. Don't feel bad for him having to help you. I wouldn't hesitate if my DM had mental health problems to go over and help her. This is a time you need to pull together as a family.

I know you said that your siblings are also struggling but would you just be able to talk to the phone with one of them. Just to let them know? They may want to help.

Do the minimum today. I think getting your prescription sorted is priority. I'm on anti depressants and if I ever stop taking them it massively effects my mood. Going cold turkey isn't good for anyone.

Call 111 or GP and ask for an emergency prescription.

Take it from there. Keep checking in here for support.

Hi OP, I too am here checking in. Glad your DS came over, would he be able to get his brothers ready and drop them at school do you think? Then as stated above, I’d ring your GP first about an emergency prescription, if they can’t do it, call 111 and ask them.
But maybe a good sleep first as I doubt you’ve had any, and sleep deprivation on top of everything else is the last thing you need xx
