Woop! Just got a call asking if I wanted to be visited today (er, no, ta) and telling me that they're about to call CMHT to hand me over to them. Finally getting off this daily checking up soon I hope Grin

I don't fiddle with codeine. I stash it.

I try to completely avoid developing any tolerance to opiates, as they're the only thing that helps a migraine for me if triptans have failed. And also they're one of my suicide options that my DP and the psychiatric lot don't know about, in large overdose with some benzos, and after some metoclopramide and fexofenadine (for the nausea and itching). Much nicer than the third rail, if a fair bit less certain. LD50 for codeine seems to be hard to obtain information on. But I'm very keen to avoid the need for suicide as I can't cope with the thought of inflicting it on my family.

Of course it's always possible that information is hard to find because prople don't usually die from codeine overdose, in which case, at least I'd get pleasantly high.

And very constipated.

EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:01

True Grin

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:01

But no cough!

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:14

TBH, hanging is quicker, easier, and more lethal, but I can't make DP find me like that.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:16

But I'm not doing any of this. I am not going to get depressed and I am not going to kill myself because I'm too pathetic and fucking weak to cope with a little low mood for the sake of my family and DP.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:17

I can do this, without drugs and without self-harm and without any of that unhelpful shite.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:19

Going to try for a run.

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 08/11/2014 15:24

It's pouring rain where I am so if you can get out then I say go for it.

EnpoTree · 08/11/2014 15:26

I don't mind a bit of rain - I get drenched with sweat anyway Grin TBH I'm not sure it'll be possible as I just fell over walking to the bathroom, but I'll give it a go anyway.

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 08/11/2014 15:26

Be careful.

oi oi

was nice day for run here, except wind, hope it dies down for tomorrow

good ride mp?

have been busy - pony was so unbelievably sweet and happy about his work, especially the new jumps (first time he has jumped since January Blush) will see if managed a good pic of less recalcitrant teen on him this morning

but then we did a bad thing with him and hogged his mane (don't really like hogged manes on ponies) which meant we had to clip and one bit of clipping leads to another so now he is rugged up and ready to wow the viewers tomorrow

EXCEPT my heart is full of love for him again, but he is the only one I don't like to ride and they are expensive field ornaments otherwise

Mentalpsychiatrist · 08/11/2014 15:52

Nice ride thanks, blew the cobwebs away. Murphy was a bit fizzy but we had no disasters.

Sounds like you went to town on the pony! It'a to part with them but getting them a good home is the key. You're right about them making expensive ornaments.

Mitchy1nge · 08/11/2014 15:53

also during course of organising flights dates etc for Christmas and or NY in France it emerged that friend has been taking pregabalin for AAAAAAAGES for this factitious neck disorder of hers, she takes 75mg 4x day

am so tempted to show you pic of her in bikini from our summer this year but is not really on is it, suffice to say she has a great figure and am sure is not just a French thing (although she trained as a dancer) she eats v well, but is quite a busy person

Mentalpsychiatrist · 08/11/2014 15:54

This thread is about to close, should we start a new one?

Mitchy1nge · 08/11/2014 15:58

yes good thinking!

(please note lovely new ORANGE jumps)

Mentalpsychiatrist · 08/11/2014 16:00

Lovely pony and not too shabby over the poles.

I've had Murphy clipped and he looks lovely.

What on earth shall I call the new thread?
