Just 21 miles to add.

Some major mojo has been lost lately. Works also been sapping my energy. Need to accept now life has restarted (Daughter does one sport to a high level so lots of drop offs) I can’t fit as much in. Have returned to the climbing wall this week and want to keep up cross training, so going to keep lowered mileage for.

In theory I have a marathon in March, so guess I can bimble a bit longer until Nov

It is humid here aswell paddington does make it harder work.
Hope you find your mojo again soon Amaura.

Nice run this morning. Quite warm and humid but pleased with my distance. Hoping I can build it up again.

Nice easy run through countryside this morning, sunny but not too hot & humid - my sympathies to you all running in those conditions!

An easy run and a hill session (but a slow up and fast down one)

Lovely trail run with a friend this morning. Despite the wind it was just such a picturesque route and I remembered what it was like to enjoy running.

Steady run along former railway path this morning, lovely sunshine & lots of tempting brambles along the way. Only ate 1 though!

emummy I’ve been looking at blackberries for the last month on my runs thinking I must pick some and finally got round to it yesterday. Had a lovely crumble for tea.

Club intervals this evening.

More intervals tonight. That’ll be the last humid run for a while judging by the weather forecast which seems to be turning more autumnal.

Very wet run tonight. But it wasn’t cold and was actually very enjoyable.

Wet and windy run yesterday evening which was actually really enjoyable.

10 mile weekend, tempo, reps and a mid week easy.

Keeping to lower miles still, but leg is getting worse. Booked in to a see a Physio next, but i suspect I need to back away from speed sessions. Hopefully that might let me bring mileage back though... (wishful thinking)

I like the occasional down hill session, as it reminds you that it was an effort in its own right and obviously there is a different technique, so nice to think about that and not always use them as the recovery for the the ups. Of course, it’s no help for technical down hills.

No running this weekend as DD has a fever, so we’re self isolating until test results come in.

Sounds like it was quite cold as well as windy our way.

emummy · 29/09/2020 08:10

Amaura I hope the rest was negative and Dd is feeling better.
Lovely run in sunshine this morning through falling leaves, a toasty 1 degree!

Did a slowish run with the dog. Back seems to be easing now so hopefully I can get back in the swing of it. Think that is all my September miles added.

That’s good IRun, glad things are improving.
Damp & a bit dark this morning. Tried out my new reflective gilet, which was very comfy and kept me a nice temperature.

Amaura · 01/10/2020 08:00

Oh man how is it October! A 5km and 10km to add

Test was negative (yay) and she’s week enough to go back to school. Saw physio who confirmed what I knew really, but apparently I’m not allowed to not feel guilty at going easy unless I’m officially told 😂.

I need to avoid speed work and hills, which was definitely the trigger for it going to there to getting worse. So a return to lockdown style running. Just slow miles. Hopefully after a few weeks of stretches I could build mileage again. Either way I have no goals for a few months so if it’s workouts and cycling to substitute in, that’s fine.

Ran in the rain last night, I loved it

Hope your back lets you come out to play @IRun4Me
