Number 14 now full up. I don’t think a new one has been started yet?
November total 191.1. (I think)

@IRun4Me He’s also a brilliant wee athlete and we worried it would hinder him- I’m always on the nosey for how people manage their asthma- apologies if I was being a bit intrusive .

emummy · 21/04/2020 12:38

Isn’t Paula Radcliffe asthmatic? Or am I making that up?!

IRun4Me · 21/04/2020 17:15

Of course I don’t mind sauvignon and hopefully it won’t hinder him. I think you are right emummy

Just catching up with this thread. Lovely photos.

Hilly 10 miles Saturday and virtual 5K Sunday and got a new PB 21:40!
Out this evening in the wind again and some more hills.

Oof that's fast Paddington! Well done!

I'm eating way too much and can feel the impact of the extra kg or two on my pace. I have only myself to blame Angry

Well done paddington
I’m actually doing a lot of exercise at the moment- on line workouts, running, gardening. But I’m eating way to much.
Short run with DS and dog this morning. Lovely sunshine.

Morning all, I fell off the thread again 😂 so adding my last few runs now. Lockdown is awful but I'm trying to find some positives - clean air and my usual commuting time being used to run instead are helping my mood.

Nice work Paddington!
Well done all on getting out.
Easy run in the sunshine this morning, doing a scavenger hunt for a Facebook page. Have discovered I am rotten at selfies!

Panticus and IRun I’m also in the eating too much camp but also doing lots of gardening.

Toto definitely more time for running without a commute.

Another hills session this evening but it was one of my favourites hard down, easy up Grin

PaddingtonPaddington · 23/04/2020 20:35

Forgot to add on the miles

Well done paddington 🎈 🥳 🎉

That’s my PB too, but I’ve not been there since October and been to hesitant to find out where I’m at now.

Bad migraine the weekend meaning a few days off. Intervals of shorts yesterday followed by 8 miles this evening. Don’t think my other 5km was added either

Amaura · 23/04/2020 21:39

(Sorts not shorts)

Anotherthink · 23/04/2020 22:19

Wow Paddington well done!

It was so warm tonight and no breeze. A very slow 5km with dodgy leg but feel like things will very slowly go in the right direction.

I love the thought of us doing 3000 miles. That’s lockdown for you 🤣🤣

5 mile stretch out while the kids cycled

Hoping to do a longer run tomorrow

Another beautiful day, forecast for next week not so lovely though! Progression run this morning, went well until the end when my hamstring got tight and sore. Hope it settles quickly.

Nice run. Cooler and overcast this morning. When I ran past the local shop, in the road, there was a queue of people standing 2 metres apart waiting to go in. I felt like I was in a race with the most miserable bunch of spectators Grin

Obviously I was running in the road. They weren’t standing in the road Confused

Did no one clap or cheer? Miserable bunch!

Amaura · 25/04/2020 15:41

I can’t get the hang of people, sometimes those that seem most offended by your presence are in the middle of absolutely no where so clearly also doing a more than minimal walk.

20 miles today to go see and some blue bells. I’m thinking of writing of my autumn races and bringing the mileage down now, doing more circuits and cycling etc. Over 100 miles for the month now

Beautiful colours amaura, a crystal ball would be useful for your Autumn races. A shame to change your plans but you wouldn't want to maintain your mileage all that time to then be disappointed.

Does anyone know any good core workouts to help running form? I find it quite conflicting online between whether to bother with crunches or not. I don't have any equipment like a gym ball etc.

Amaura · 25/04/2020 22:11

I think the problem with doing a particular work out, is if it focuses on muscle set then others get neglected. I have a glute heavy one I do, but only 1 in 3, the others are random hiit’s and Pilates I find on you tube. Generally do one I like and then look at the suggestions for new ones

Amaura · 25/04/2020 22:32

I brought this vest in the end. Got it £15 cheaper than advertised through a voucher. Am liking it so far

Panticus · 26/04/2020 11:20

That's beautiful amaura, it's like being in a Monet.

Much more soggy down here - lots of hills as per usual so at least I get rewarded with nice views.
