Wee interval session, didn't push too hard as a bit tired.

Hello all. Sorry not to be chatty. But I have just come back from a little lunch time run and got all serious about training for a half in Feb!! Got to shift this weight though (about 10 lbs would do it) and I suspect I may have to actually diet! arghhhh!

I haven't posted on here for a few months. A month ago I had a baby and today made it out for a short run. It felt so good to be back running but I'm exhausted now. I did parkrun up to 3 weeks before the birth, stopped at 33 weeks but the little one decided to arrive 4 weeks early. I hope to get out some more over the next few weeks as DH is off work.

Been away all week so just squeezed some short ones in when I could. 283

Welcome back blackcat - and congratulations.

I have 6.25 from this morning - was in a terrible grump and it seemed to do the trick.

We used to have a mince pie run with one of our local running club hosting us at his house afterwards Sirzy but injury means he can no longer run so it doesn't happen anymore Sad

parkrun to add from me, had a lovely daylight 6 miles planned but I decided it would be more fun to spend half the night on the loo and being sick and skip the run. Slowly starting to feel more human Angry

Congratulations on your baby Blackcat and also on returning to running so soon after the birth Shock
Glad you are feeling better Cinners. Shame about the mince pie run, I

know a lot of ex runners (due to injuries), it is sad.
47 miles from last week to add, still no intervals, knee feeling a lot better and not sure if I will go ahead with the cortisone injection now.

Mixed pace run this morning, got good pace despite chilly headwind. One of those rather bleak raw winter days, not my favourite!

Struggled to see tonight, fog and a head torch don't really go! Lovely run though. 383.4

NIce presents cinnamon! I got socks, a waist pack and funky striped calf sleeves. Finally made it out for a run today, the cold is starting to go. Felt hard but great and managed not to slip on the icy patches! Thankfully yesterday's snow has gone

Hi All. Haven't posted for ages as been in Australia for Christmas. Happy to report I got a fair bit of running in with almost daily morning runs along the coast road (anything to escape the mayhem of 7 under-6's in one house) , so 39 miles to add to the December total.

Congrats blackcat. Nice to have you back on the thread.
